We're alike you and I.
Two blue hearts locked in our wrong minds.
So can we make the most out of no time?
Can you hold me?
Can you make me leave my demons and my broken pieces behind?- Wild, Troye Sivan.
"No, the blow fish did not look at you before puffing." Adrian was still chuckling at Maddy, humoured throaty snickers rising from his chest.
"No! It did. I saw it. And you don't know, you weren't even paying attention." Maddy exclaimed, determined to get her point across.
She got a loud deep laugh as a reply.
Then there was silence.
They walked down the main hall, perfectly in sync.
Suddenly, Maddy felt warm fingers grazing her hand that was hanging by her side. She glanced down to see him firmly yet gently grip her hand.
She turned her head up to meet his eyes, but his face was passively turned to the front.
She found herself smiling instinctively.
"I really liked looking at the fishes." Maddison admitted looking up at him, a whisper of smile on her lips.
"Really?" Adrian amusedly echoed.
"Yup." She quietly mumbled, then another thought hit her, and she turned her curious eyes towards him "Hey, do you have any pet?"
But, she didn't give him time to answer, as she started excitedly talking again, her train of thoughts had already took off, "I've always wanted a puppy, but my parents say I won't be able to take care of it. They think I am careless." She pouted.
"You kind of are." Adrian chimed thoughtfully, tilting his head to the right.
Maddy gasped, eyes wide. Then denied childishly, "No. I am not."
She crossed her arms over her chest.
Adrian grinned at her, his beautiful eyes sparkling, "Yes, you are." He declared. His hands were now lazily tucked in his jean jeans pockets.
"This is delirious. You don't even know me that well." She protested.
"You arrived here 45 minutes late. I think that's enough evidence for my licit claim." He mocked, raising an arched eyebrow at her, challenging her to counter.
She sighed in defeat, "Fair point". Then embarrassingly mumbled, "And I said I was sorry."
"I have a cat." Adrian suddenly provided, eyes looking front into the distance before them.
She blinked up at his face in confusion, then after a second, she remembered.
He had answered her previously asked question.
"Yeah?" She mused, raising her eyebrows.
Adrian hummed, then further offered, "Piglet was kind of an early graduating present."
Wait, what?
Maddy couldn't hold her laughter in, she gasped out between giggles, "You named your cat Piglet?"
Who does that?
"Hey, don't look at me like that. I was higher than burj khalifa when they asked me to name him." Adrian defended, raising both his hands.
This only further intensed her chuckles. She threw her head back, consumed by amusement.
"Well, I would love to meet him." She quipped.
He sincerely murmured, "And you will."
After a few seconds she spoke up again, "Wow, you got a cat for graduating, and I got a diploma. Am I missing out." She commented sarcastically.
