I tried to scream,
But my head was underwater.
They called me weak.
Like I'm not just somebody's daughter.

- Everything I wanted, Billie Eilish.

She didn't have to look up to know exactly who it was.

"Go away Luke." She tiredly mumbled.

That is all she felt these days- tired.

"No. No, I'm not going back there." Luke exclaimed, anxiousness lacing his voice.

She heard crunching of grass behind her- Luke was pacing.

Then, she heard the click of opening of a plastic lid.

Suddenly the strong smell of antiseptic made its way towards her nose- hand sanitizer.

"Do you know how filthy it is in there. I mean I just came here tonight to get lucky, oo that reminds me- I did. Twice." Luke declared smugly, halting his marching for a second.

Even though Olivia wasn't looking at him, she could literally see the devilish smirk on his perfect face.

Then the sound of pacing stopped.

Olivia had mentally begun preparing herself for his array of questions when he asked, "What are you doing here anyway? Where is Maddy? You two are always together."

She could hear the genuine curiousity in his voice.

"I am here because this a great chance for my slowly skyrocketing popularity. And Maddy mumbled something like 'are you kidding', then launched into an hour long lecture about liver cirrhosis and venereal diseases." She replied plainly, hoping her voice was convincingly flat enough.

Luke breathed a throaty laugh at this, "This does sound like her. Now, where was I?"

It was enough.

He ranted after a second, "Oh, yes. The party. Now? At this time of night, It's just puke or sweat, or fucking people having sex everywhere. And I can't even leave- my ride's drunk. Ugh"  Luke complained.

"This party was lit, like an hour ago, now it's like my cousin grandma Leah- just not fucking ending. " he declared, crossing his arms over his chest for emphasis.

"I am not going back in there. The crazy redheaded chick- Natalie or Naomi, whatever her name is, she just isn't leving me alone. Like I don't want to have sex again dude. I am spent now, and-"

He was suddenly interrupted by Olivia.

"Shut the fuck up."

Her voice cracked in the middle of the sentence.

All voicesstopped.

Chirping of the crickets could be distinctively made out.

Only rustling of leaves and distant music could be heard.

The bench creaked as an indicator that another body had suddenly occupied the space beside her.

She turned away.

Spicy pinewood suddenly enveloped her senses.

She felt a gentle tug on her shoulder, then she glanced down to see a hand softly taking the bottle away from her desperate hands.

"Hey, what's wrong Olive?" Luke spoke in a soft voice, concern evident in his tone.

"Go away!" She screamed at him, then pulled up her knees to her chest, and leaned her head down, burying her face in her hands.
