Author's Note: I made Erg not hate John and vise versa
Erg's POV:
One of my lookouts came and told me there is a woman asking to speak with Clarice. I look at John and nod. He nods back. I don't trust very easily, especially when they are asking for a specific Morlock. I went with them to meet with this woman, and immediately knew her as Reeva Payge, since John gave a photo of her to me. I already knew she wants Clarice for her portals. I arrived and was met with the sight of her with two of the three Frost Triplets . "What is your business here?" I asked staring her down. "I just wanted to talk to a resident ," Reeva answered very playfully. "Who?" I already knew the answer but played along. "Clarice Fong." I looked at her and spoke, "She's currently doing a supply run. The two twin's eyes suddenly glowed blue and returned to normal. "She's inside." They said in unison, I go to take my eye patch off until, Reeva uses her powers and I can't think straight.
Reeva's POV:
According to the Frost Triplets this man who confronted me is named Erg. He finally fell unconscious and I made my way into the sewer system. I found the entrance swiftly and went inside. There were multiple tents, families of mutants occupied the tents. I used my powers causing everyone fall to their knees clutching their heads. Once I stop everyone looks up at me in fear. "Where is Clarice Fong."
10 minutes earlier
John's POV:
I arrived at the Morlock's hideout I saw Erg and he greeted me very kindly, "John! It's good to see you again! What brings you here!" I shake hands with him and quickly got to the point, "Reeva Payge wants Clarice." His smile quickly disappears, "Who?" Erg responds confused and concerned. I go on to explain who she is and her colleagues. "She wants her portals for her personal use." He would stare at her tent deep in thought. "John, I think you should stay here. If Reeva somehow gets in you should help her escape." I see a mutant I don't recognize state that a woman was waiting outside the sewers, requesting to speak with Erg. Erg looks at me knowingly and nods to the mutant. I run to Clarice's tent where she is asleep. I go to wake her up, when I hear a noise and clutch my head Clarice bolts up her hands holding her head. The noise stops and she looks at me in confusion and concern when we hear, "Where is Clarice Fong?"
Clarice's POV:
I wake up to a loud noise and close my eyes. The noise suddenly stops I open my eyes to see John in my tent and we hear, "Where is Clarice Fong?" I go to get up and ask what they want when John grabs my arm. I turn to look at him when he explains in a whisper what is going on. I nod when Fade comes out of nowhere and grabs me and turns invisible, turning me invisible as well, drags me out of the tent and let's go of me in front of Reeva making me visible. I notice the Frost twins, noting Esme was not present, and would look back at Reeva. It seemed she was looking at my Markings and eyes as well as my ears, which are pointed. "I would like to talk to you. Alone." I look back for John only to realize Fade had a gun pointed at a mutant child telling John he'd shoot if he intervened. John nodded to tell me to go with her. I looked back at Reeva and slowly nodded my head. "Perfect." She basically drags me to a secluded area, and kept looking at me. "I want to invite you to my Inner Circle. I think you would be very helpful to us." I'm taken aback to say the least. "No thanks. I'd rather live with the Morlocks out of this war." She looked a bit angry but quickly composed herself and promptly responded, "I don't blame you for wanting to live out of the war, but you could turn the tides in the mutants favor." She swiftly left, clearly annoyed.
Reeva's POV:
"Let's go." Erg had just walked in as the Twins and I were leaving. We made it outside where Benedict Ryan was waiting. "Well?" He asked. "She refused which means your Purifiers are good to go in. Remember I want her alive. Kill anyone who gets in the way. Make sure she can't portal away. Do what is necessary, but don't leave her too injured." He processed what all I had said and then responded, "How do I get her to you?" I gave him coordinates, "Drop her here. Make it seem like we save her. If that means you leave her a little beaten that's fine. It will give you the proof that you need to fuel your agenda as well as mine."  I got into my car with the two Frosts. "What's the plan?" Sophie asked. I responded a few minutes later, "We wait."
