•Chapter 8

Y/n's POV

About a month had passed since school began and Cedric and I had only grown closer, Eric and I had grown a lot closer too.
Fred and I had been slowly growing apart though. He seemed as if he had moved onto his next girl and I had moved onto other people as well.

Every Friday night Cedric and I would meet each other in the astronomy tower at midnight. We both enjoyed the little peak of adrenaline it would give us. And today just so happened to be Friday.

But until then, Eric and I chose to study In the library, the morning before school started.

"You know Y/n, I triply enjoy our little study dates." Eric said with a smirk on his face

"I do too Eric." I winked at him, "But we have to stay focused"

"Will do...professor" Eric mocked.

We both began studying before we noticed a large thud come from one of the bookshelves.

"What the fuck was that?" Eric whispered

"I don't know, let's go check it out." I signaled at him to follow me and he did.

We both walked over to the bookcase in front of where the loud bang came from and tried to look through the books to see who it was.

"It looks like Diggory and his girlfriend." Eric whispered.

"Are you sure, I can't really tell from here."

"Yeah, just come look for yourself."

I walked over to where Eric had been standing and peered my head through the books only to see Cedric and Ava kissing each other while knocking books down.

"You weren't kidding." I whispered to Eric as I slowly backed away.

"Come on let's just go somewhere else." Eric said pulling me back to the table and we began picking out stuff up.

"Alright, let's head out." I grabbed Eric's hand

"Getting touchy are we now Malfoy?" He questioned as he looked over to me.

I rolled my eyes at him, "Shut up, I'm just cold."

"I'm sure you are." He laughed as we began to walk away. We both heard a random snap sound but ignored it at the time.

As Eric and I were walking out we noticed Serena and immediately removed our hands from each other's grasp.

"Hey Y/n! Wanna walk me to my first class?" Serena asked with a smile on her face.

"Why of course, I'll see you later Eric."

He nodded and sent me a little wave and walked away.

"So, how's everything going with Mr. Diggory?" Serena asked.

"Eh, it's w little weird now. I mean he has a girlfriend and that just made things a little awkward for me personally."

"Well have you talked to his girlfriend?"

"No I've just decided to let her approach me if she would like, she seems pretty cool I guess, even though she always looks like she wants to kill me anytime I come within a two foot radius of her, but that's a problem for later."

"You sound like you're trying to convince yourself, Y/n" Serena glared over at me.

"Oh look here! We're at your class, time for you to go!" I smiled at her.

"Getting rid of me and my intrusive questions won't get rid of your problems Y/n..." She sent me an innocent wave as she walked into her class.

I sighed and then began speed walking down the hall to Transfiguration's but i was stopped by a ringing of my phone. It was a text message from an anonymous number.
