It had been about a month since the teams new players were announced. We had our first practice a couple weeks ago and let me just say, it was chaotic. Cedric and Blair were arguing over who knows what the whole time. Luke couldn't keep control of his broom and poor Tanner and Brianna had to sit through it all. During this time, Jordan was trying to help me improve in the places I lacked skill.
Today was the first game of the season for the hufflepuff team and it was versus Slytherin.
We were definitely not prepared.
I was up all night worrying and researching about how to play a successful game.
Jordan and I exchanged phone numbers and have been talking a lot recently.
Jordan
Jordan: Hey Y/n, wanna meet up before the game?
You: Sure what are you doing rn?
Jordan: I'm in the library doing homework hbu
You: I'm in the common room
Jordan: Oh we are kinda far away from each other then
Jordan: i'll just meet you outside before the game
You: ok sounds good, see you then!
Jordan: okay!
I was laying down on Cedric's lap on the common room couch while he was reading.
He shut his book and looked down at me.
"Y/n are you okay? You look kind of tired." He looked down at me and asked.
"No, I was up all night last night. I am completely exhausted."
"Why don't you just fall asleep right now. The game doesn't start for a while."
"I don't want to leave you..."
A smile grew on his face.
"Then just fall asleep here." He suggested
"Done deal."
I closed my eyes as Cedric laughed.
He resumed reading his book.
I have been so confused about our relationship recently...
Is it just platonic or is it turning into something more?
What if I ruin our friendship with my feelings?

It was now time for the game.
Cedric had left with Tanner and Brianna while Luke and Blair left together.
I was standing outside waiting for Jordan.
After a couple minutes of waiting I saw him run out of the door.
"Hey sorry I'm late." He said
