Cedric's POV

"I'm sorry, Cedric. We just can't do this, not now. I promise you, I'm no good for you."  She pulled her hand out of mine and left. The rain poured down even harder.

"What did I just do?"

I soon realised I couldn't stay out here forever, so my slow footsteps led me back into the warm, dry castle.

I wiped the tears off my face and lightly shook some of the water out of my hair before walking back to my dorm with my head facing the ground the whole way.

My mind was running, replaying our conversation and picking out all the little details I hadn't noticed before.

I made it into the common room. Loud and familiar laughter filled the whole room. I tried to keep my head down to avoid any conversations. "Cedric?" I slowly turned my head up knowing that I couldn't get out of this one.

Serena, Blair and Brianna were all gathered around the fireplace.

Brianna saw my puffy eyes and a small frown played on her face. "You've been crying, why?" She empathetically asked.

"Don't worry, we won't judge." Serena added on.

I slightly nodded before sitting in the chair beside them.

"So, spill it. What happened?"

I went on to explain every single thing that had happened not even an hour ago. "It just kinda all happened too fast, I saw the opportunity and I took it, but should I have not?" I asked the group.

"No, I think you made a good decision, she might just not be ready for a relationship." Blair responded.

"I get that but what I don't get is why she thinks she's not good enough for me, do you think I said something to make her feel that way?"

"Cedric, you're overthinking this. She's most likely just not ready yet, like Blair said. Maybe you need to give her some space." Serena said.

"The last thing I want from her is space..." I let out a sigh.

"Trust me, you guys need it. You can always try again after and see if things get better."

Maybe Serena was right, Y/n and I are always around each other so maybe that's messing things up between us.

"Okay, i'll try, I just hope it will work."

"It will, I promise you."

A few loud bangs and a scream came from the door leading into the common room.

Brianna got up immediately and opened up the door.

Outside was Gia soaking wet, with vinegar I assume.

"I did the wrong fucking pattern." She shook her arms.

Called it.

"Well, welcome to our therapy session, Gia." Brianna pulled her inside.

"Therapy session?" She questioned.

"Cedric and Y/n got into a fight tonight."

"Oh, i'm sorry." she pushed her hair out of her face

"Don't worry about it." I stood up from the chair. "I'm gonna head up to my room, I'll talk to you guys tomorrow."

"Bye pretty boy, hope things get better." They all waved as I walked up the stairs
