Like he said. I'm New York's only Spider-Man. I didn't even know if I was hearing myself correctly.

Maybe Pete had hit his head, after Rhino had thrown him about ten metres away from him. He did get electrocuted as well, so maybe he didn't know what he was saying.

But to be New York's only Spider-Man?

That was a lot of responsibility. I needed to think this through. After, I get home and get some sleep.

But before that, talking to Ganke was my priority before ending what seemed to be a very long day.

I know he was probably having a hard time thinking about where I went. I had such a strong feeling he was so mad at me.

It was Ganke Lee I was talking about. My best friend. He couldn't stay mad for more than a minute.

It was basically impossible for him.

The lights sure do look pretty at night. I thought, sinking in the little sparkling dots of the Harlem households and stores.

I saw Ganke from the bottom. His deep orange winter coat swallowing him whole. He was pacing up and down like a lion waiting for their next meal.

I decided I was gonna scare him. Not too hard to make him drop dead, but enough to make him jump a little.

I think it'd be hilarious to see him flinch for once.

I swung towards the outside of our apartment and stuck to the side of the wall. Little did Ganke know that he was in for the shock of his life.

Slowly, I crawled toward him. Preparing myself for the big jump.
