Light flickers from the silver lanterns hanging in my dormitory. Someone shives me playfully and I open my eyes to see Daphne grinning above me, I groan loudly as she tugs at my blankets.

"Nila! You have to get ready, the game starts in less than an hour!" She tugs at me and I sit up hitting my head on the windowsill.

"Shoot!" I hurriedly get out of bed and pull on my Quidditch uniform before hurrying into the bathroom to get ready. Today is the first match against Ravenclaw and I'm praying we do well. We need to win this game to prove that our team is a threat this year. Thankfully, Ravenclaws star keeper graduated last year so they have a new keeper, I believe he is a skimpy third year so he shouldn't prove too much difficulty.

Draco stands next to me as we hear the briefing from our captain. He shoots me a quick smile before we grab our brooms and head out onto the pitch. I walk onto the field to hear loud cheers from the Slytherins and boos from the Ravenclaws. I spot Hermione, Ron, and Harry and they wave enthusiastically. We mount our brooms as Madam Hooch blows her whistle.

"Blaise passes to Anderson who passes to Prewett who scores! Should've been in Gryffindor, I say. Look at those flying skills!" Lee Jordan shouts as I pump by fist and high-five Anderson. A lot of the older Slytherins like me, for no reason other than my quidditch skills, a handful of people don't care that I'm muggleborn since I play well.

"A bludger heading for Prewett but she narrowly dodges and passes the quaffle to Flint who scores!" Jordan shouts excitedly. The score quickly narrows up to 60-40 with the Slytherins leading. I score again as does Blaise but Ravenclaws star chaser scores three more times. The game quickly heats up and I make a dive to catch the quaffle, I quickly score just as Draco spots something.

"And Malfoy spots something, is it the snitch?" Lee Jordan leans forward and I see Draco doing the same, urging his broom to go faster. The Ravenclaw seeker spots it as well.

"Oh! And it's a race for the snitch, who will get there first..." Draco swoops down and grabs a hold of the fluttering ball, "SLYTHERIN WINS!"

Hermione, Harry, Ron and I walk together towards the Hogs Head for our first meeting with the new Defense Against the Dark Arts group. Harry grumbles something about not being able to teach but we all ignore him.

We walk out feeling excited about the possibility of actually pulling this off. The meeting went by without a hitch, almost. There was a slight problem where people were doubting Harry's authenticity. But I found that I can be very persuasive, as can everyone else. The only problem is that we need a meeting spot where we can't be found.

The next morning we wake up to a surprise, after breakfast Umbridge has made an announcement. All groups and clubs will be disbanded until approved by Umbridge.

"What will we do?" Neville asks anxiously, I share a grin with Hermione.

"We continue the club!" I smirk, Hermione smiles as does Ron and Harry. Neville still looks unsure but just shrugs.

I'm huddled close to the fire when Draco comes in and sits close to me. I look and him and offer him some of my blanket.

"So, good job at the game," he smiles.

"You too, you did amazing there at the end."

"It is my job," he smirks, "you scored the most goals that game!"

I laugh, "their new keeper is not nearly as good as Clarkson was."

"That's true," he concludes, "but you still did great."

"Well, thank you." I lean back and I can't help thinking how good it feels to be complimented by Draco. Everytime I'm with him I can't help but get butterflies. I jerk back to reality to hear him talking.

"I overheard your dilemma," he tells me. I look at him confused, "with Umbridge, and your club."

I sit upright and look at him, "how did you know about that?"

He laughs, "don't worry, Nila, I won't tell anyone." I look hesitantly at him and he leans closer to me, his lips brushing my ears, "I know a place, where you won't get caught." He stands up and offers me his hand, I take it and follow him hesitantly out of the common room.

He stands in front of a blank wall and I stare confused at him. He paces back and forth until a worn wooden door appears. I slowly walk forward and open the door. Inside is a room almost identical to the Slytherin common room, confused, I walk into the room and hear Draco do the same.

"The Room of Requirement," Draco tells me, "it can become anything you want, but you have to be very specific."

I plop down in one of the plush couches, "when did you find this?"

"Stumbled upon it in third year," he answers.

"This is amazing Draco, but-"

He cuts me off, "I won't tell anyone." I smile as he comes and sits next to me.

"You could join?" I ask, even though I already know his answer.

He shakes his head, "you know I can't do that," he begins, "I have to pretend to be on Umbridge's side, even if I don't support her. My father would kill me if I did otherwise." He says the last part a bit quieter and I grab his hand, he cautiously moves his head onto my shoulder and I scoot closer to him.

The next day I tell the others about The Room of Requirement, when they ask how I found it I simply said I stumbled upon it by accident. They were thrilled at the prospect of being able to practice our spells without Umbridge finding us. Hermione suggests using fake galleons as a form of communication and we soon get started on the first meeting.

Next chapter should be fun to write! PLEASE give me any suggestions, especially  on the quiditch scenes! There will be one or two more of those so I want to improve my writing there. Thanks again for reading!
