27) The End

We apparate to the edge of Hogwarts where Voldemort brings us to a halt. Other death eaters and creatures appear as well and I shiver at the site of Fenrir Greyback standing in our midsts.

"Nila," Draco whispers besides me, "you have to be careful tonight."

I look at him, "this is war, Draco, and you know what I'm fighting for." Draco takes my hand and I squeeze tightly.

Voldemort turns around to face us, "Commence the fight," he bellows. We raise our wands casting spells hitting the magical barrier that was put up. Inside the barrier I see people running and preparing to fight. I wonder if Harry is ok. Is Ginny in there, will she fight? My heart hammers in my chest as the barrier shakes with the weight of our spells. I notice Voldemort disappears with Nagini and I remember that she is a horcrux as well. I wonder how many have been destroyed and remind myself to take any chances I get to kill the snake.

"We broke through," A voice yells. Draco drags me through the barrier and across the bridge. I ignore everyone and pull Draco deeper into the castle dodging spell after spell. I come face to face with Mcgonagall and she stares at me.

"Who's here Professor?" I ask anxiously, "We are on your side, trust me."

She nods, "Harry told me, Marlene is here with Sirius, I believe they are on the North tower with Remus and Tonks." I nod my thanks and pull Draco through the hordes of people. I spot Fenrir looming over a scared looking Ravenclaw girl and I cast a stunning spell at him, sending him flying backwards. The girl shoots me a grateful glance and runs off. Draco and I turn a corner and I spot Ginny standing fruitfully in a horde of duelers.

"Ginny!" I shout running up to her. She grabs my hand and I pull her into a hug. "Ginny, where are the others?"

She shrugs, "I'm not sure, they told me to leave the Room of Requirement so I came down here to fight." I glance at Draco to see his wand held high with his eyes darting side to side.

"Ok, be safe Ginny." I hug her again and she nods running away to help Luna. I look at Draco and he grabs my hand and together we run to the room of requirement.

Harry clutches something that looks like a crown except it is charred with black liquid seeping out of it. Hermione and Ron stare at the item and I internally smile when I spot them holding hands.

"Harry! Ron, Hermione!" I shout, running over to them. Hermione quickly embraces me in a hug and then turns to look at Draco.

"Draco, Crabbe is dead," she states. Harry looks at the ground and I look at Draco. Draco stares at Hermione with his eyebrows furrowed. I grab Draco's hand but squeeze it tightly but Draco keeps a straight face.

"How?" He asks simply.

Hermione looks from Draco to me then back to Draco, "Fiendfyre, he cast it at us but he ended up getting stuck in it." I spot Draco's jaw twitch but he remains quiet.

After a moment Ron breaks the silence, "two horcruxes down, Nila, just the snake to go." Hermione shoots him a glance and he drops his head. Poor Ron sometimes doesn't know when to be quiet. I look at Draco and he smiles smally.

"Let's go then, we have to find the snake," Draco says. I look at him in concern but her takes my hand and together with the trio following we venture down into the horde of fighters.

"Nila, Draco, we need to go find the snake!" Harry shouts after seeing me get sidetracked by a passing death eater.

"We can't leave, Harry, they need our help!" I shout back and he shakes his head.

"You stay, keep a lookout for Voldemort and Nagini," he tells me and I nod. The trio heads off and Draco and I jump into the horde of fighters. Draco discreetly casts a spell at Yaxley who is fighting a ravenclaw boy and Yaxley tumbles to the ground. The boy shoots as a grateful glance and I look around to see who else may need our help. I notice Ernie Mcmillan and Hannah Abott attempting to duel Dolohov. I cut in front of them and cast a stunning spell at Dolohov.
