Edward had found one of his oldest friends, Adrien Quay lounging on Mia's couch.

Adrien was a reformed playboy, he liked to live out his old playboy habits through Edward and was pleased to find out that he was now a single man. Adrien, however, was not a single man. Delilah Bellmont was his undoing.

"Quay" Edward greeted with no apparent emotion, Adrien turned around and a smirk sat across his face.

"Edward" he patted the vampire on his back enthusiastically.

"Oh no I mean," Adrien cleared his throat, "Edward" he said with false sadness, holding a hand to his chest, "how are you holding up?"

"You came all the way here to ask how I was holding up?" Edward questioned skeptically.

Adrien had never actually met Bella and had only received message from Carlisle that Edward was in a committed relationship, this led further to Edwards' suspicion.

Adrien scoffed, "Unbelive— can you believe this guy?" He said to no one in particular, "of course I—

"Where's the girl?"

"Shit" Adrien huffed, "Aisha you can come out now" he yelled as a young woman with a rather large chest came out from behind a wall.

"She's Lebanese" Adrien moved his eyebrows up and down in a rhythmical way.

"Right, mhm... And how would Delilah feel about this?"

"Aisha out!" He clicked his fingers, the girl scoffed, throwing curses at Adrien in Arabic as she left the house.

He turned around to face Edward again and gave a breathy chuckle, "Soo" he pursed his lips, "How did you like Aisha?" He made a circular movement around his chest and widened his eyes suggestively, as if he was a cartoon character.

Edward rolled his eyes figuring that a decade away from him was simply just not long enough.

"Oh come on, Edward. We're young-ish, attractive and one of us is still single" he winked.

"I'm busy tonight." Edward said dryly.

"Okay well I'll just tag along" Adrien suggested, hopefully.

"Not happening" he said as he checked his time piece, "hey, Mia" he called.

After a few moments, Mia walked down the stairs, holding a phone to her ear.

"Yes, alright" she nodded.

"Okay, thank you, George" she spoke into the phone.

"Bye" she closed the flip phone and turned to Edward, her eyes were narrowed into slits.

"Who shoved a stick up her ass today?" Adrien whispered to Edward.

"Edward" Mia replied.

"Woah, good job buddy." Adrien held his hand up, waiting for a high five from Edward, "Delilah wont even let me do that" he mumbled, Edward closed his eyes in frustration and willed for Adrien to just disappear.
