Prologue

A dark figure stood a few feet in front of a baby. The figure then made complicated hand signs. The figure’s hands began to grow claws. It then launched its clawed hands to the baby. As the clawed hands were about to kill the baby, two ninjas stood in the way to block the attack. Spitting out blood, both of the ninjas smiled in relief because they made it just in time to save the baby. It turns out that the two ninjas were the baby’s parents.

“Pathetic. You are willing to risk your lives for a helpless little baby?” the dark figure said darkly as he tried to retract his clawed hand but to no avail.

“We will do everything in our power to protect our child” the male ninja said.

“We would die before we let anything bad happen to her” the female ninja added

The baby cried catching the ninjas’ attentions.

“Don’t worry. Mommy and daddy will defeat the evil demon soon” the female ninja said with a smile

The dark figure chuckled “How do you plan on defeating me? Pathetic ninjas!”

The male ninja smirked. “I think you’re forgetting what clan we’re from, Yakumitsu”

The dark figure stopped chuckling and suddenly felt a little nervous. “Wait, you’re not going to use that jutsu on me now, are you?”

The male ninja’s smirk widens as he starts to make the hand signs for the jutsu. The female ninja’s eyes widened.

“Minakuzo, that’s-“

“I know” the man interrupted the female ninja

“But who?” the woman asked

The male ninja gave the woman a pained look before replying. “Our child”

The woman was surprised. “No! You are not sealing him inside our child! No!” she shouted

“Kaiya, please trust me in this. I know it may sound selfish for me to put that burden on our own child but… I believe that she can handle it.” The man said

“But… but what life will she have? She’ll be feared!” the woman argued

“Like I said, I believe in her. As her father, I know she’s strong enough to handle the pain, the power, and the sadness. She’s like you, after all” said the man as he continued to perform the hand signs.

The woman gave the man a pained look before forcing herself to nod. The man smiled at her.

“What are you doing?! You can’t do this to me!” the dark figure screamed as he tried to pull his clawed hand away so he can escape but still to no avail.

The two ninjas ignored the dark figure and focused their attention on the baby in front of them.

The woman chuckled sadly. “Then I guess it’s time to say our goodbyes”

The man’s lips began to tremble but he nodded in agreement. “You go first” he said

The woman sighed before forcing herself to smile at the baby. “Hi baby, this is mommy. It looks like this will be the last time you’ll ever see mommy and daddy again. That’s a shame. I wanted to see you grow up to be a great ninja like me and daddy. But even though we’re not by your side, always be a good girl, okay? Always respect the elders and always be kind to everyone. Even if you go through rough times, always know that we’re right here for you and never bear hatred in your heart. Hatred will only give you more pain. Always know that love is more powerful than hatred. Never give up on yourself and always think positive. Also, please remember that I will always love you.”

The man felt a tear roll down his cheek as it was his turn now to speak. “Hi sweetheart, this is daddy. Your mom said all the things I wanted to say so the only thing left for me to say is that I believe in you. I believe you can handle everything that will come your way. I’m sorry I had to put this burden on you… but you can do it! I know you can! You’re like your mother; tough and rough… I want you to be a great and strong ninja when you grow up, okay? You’re not allowed to have boyfriends until you’re 14, am I clear? Keep training but also rest. I love you, sweetheart.”

Just then, the woman started to sob. “There’s still so much that I want to say to her” she said

The man gave one last look at the baby before making the last hand sign. “Forbidden Art: Sushirika Seal!”

“No!” the dark figure screamed as he slowly got sealed inside the baby. Once the dark figure was fully sealed, the baby cried. The baby’s parents stood in front of the baby with huge holes in their stomach and their blood pooling around them. They both smiled at the sight of their baby knowing that this will not be the last time they will see her.

“We love you, Kamina” they both said before falling to the ground.
