The guard greeted me when I walked inside Carter Hotels. I am wearing a working attire kaya siguro akala niya I'm here for business.
Dire diretso ako sa info desk, I asked. "I'm here for Leo Carter. Where is he?"
"May appointment po ba kayo with Mr. Carter?"
Okay, she doesn't know me.
"He told me to meet him here." I answered professionally.
"Name?" Wow, di ba talaga ako kilala dito? Nakakaloka.
"Erin." I answered. Kumunot ang noo niya. So I continued, "Erin Wyatt of Wyatt Academy and Wyatt Cars."
Napamura siya at nag sorry. "Sorry, Ma'am. Sorry po talaga."
Binasa ko ang nameplate niya, "It's okay, Aria. Now, where is Leo?"
She clicked her fingers. Pagtingin ko sa likod may lalake na naka black pants, white shirt and black leather jacket. His hair is shaved on the side.
Tumakbo naman yon papalapit sa amin. Tinuro ako ni Aria.
"Sunod po kayo sa akin, Ma'am." I nodded and bid goodbye to Aria. I also told her I admire her work.
We walked at the back side of the hotel. Napansin kong papunta kami sa pool place dito sa ground floor ng hotel.
God, it's beautiful.
Pero bakit dito niya ako dinala? Why not in Leo's office?
"Where are we going?"
"Nasa pool po si Sir Leo. May swimming lessons siya ngayon sa orphans."
Wow. He spends his spare time teaching swimming lessons for free?
Tumango na lang ako at sumunod sa kanya.

Nakita ko si Leo na nasa tubig at may tinuturuan na bata kung paano lumangoy. Nakatalikod siya sa'kin.
I stopped, admiring his bare back. He has a scar on his back. It looked fresh. But he still looks hot.
How in the world can he be the youngest CEO in the country while maintaining that perfect body? Good, God.
Nagpaalam naman na yung lalake na naghatid sakin dito.
Before I could call out to Leo, I heard him talking to the kids, "Dapat marunong kayong lumangoy para kapag may baha, storm surge o tsunami, makaka-survive kayo. Kapag may nalulunod din, pwede niyong mailigtas basta marunong kayo lumangoy."
I smiled.
Nagtanong ang isang bata, "May nailigtas na po ba kayong nalulunod?"
He answered, "Oo. Dati. Anim na taon na ang nakalilipas." I froze. He continued, "Intern kasi ako dati sa isang beach resort, bago pa ako magkaroon na sarili kong kompanya. Tapos yung anak ng boss ko, nakita kong nalulunod kaya iniligtas ko."
"Wow, gusto ko din maging savior!"
"Ako din! Turuan niyo din po kami lumangoy!"
The kids crowded over Leo.
While I stood behind Leo completely frozen.
He saved me?
When I woke up, I saw Raven carrying me to the infirmary.
Akala ko siya ang nagligtas sa akin?
"Erin, stay with me"
That voice. Kaya pala sobrang familiar ng boses ni Leo nang una ko siyang makilala.
