It's already been 43 hours since Zeyn got sarin poisoning. He's still hasn't woken up. Based on the investigation, the cupcakes were packed with sarin. Sarin easily mixes with water at malamang na hinalo daw sa cupcakes. Iniimbestigahan na nila yung bake shop. Whoever drugged the cupcakes wanted to kill me or Zyair, not Zeyn.

Inuwi ni Tita Vienna si Zeyn sa mansion nila after he got the right treatment from the hospital. May family doctors sila at may sarili silang infirmary sa bahay nila. We all have.

After what happened, mas naging maingat si Tita Vienna. Mas may tiwala daw siya sa family doctors nila at mas makabubuti din kay Zeyn kung nandoon siya sa bahay nila. Mas mababantayan siya.

I, too, stayed with Zeyn for 43 hours. Dito na ako natulog sa guest room nila. I think I got 4 hours of sleep last night or fewer. Di kasi ako makatulog thinking about Zeyn's condition and the fact that I'm the one who should be poisoned, not him.

Nandito silang lahat sa kwarto ni Zeyn ngayon, maliban kay Leo kasi may urgent meeting daw siya. But he was here yesterday. Zeyn's still asleep. The room is packed with bugging devices and hidden cameras for his safety.

"Eh kasi nga nagpaalam ako kay Zyair na mag-cCR muna. Di ko naman alam na umalis din pala siya sa kotse niya para bumili ng yosi. Tapos iniwan lang namin dun yung box ng cupcakes."

Paliwanag ni Sky. Ilang beses na siyang nagpaliwanag sa amin at sa mga pulis.

"Wala namang sinisisi dito, Sky. Alam naman nating wala sa atin ang naglagay ng lason. Di'ba nga may gustong pumatay kila Erin at Zyair? Yun din yung naglagay ng lason. Iniimbestigahan na ng mga pulis pati yung car incident" Sabi ni Yago.

"It's my fault" I said while holding Zeyn's hand. Nakaupo ako ngayon sa ottoman, sa tabi ng higaan niya. "Ako yung dapat nalason, hindi siya"

Zeyn has been good to me ever since we were kids. He always puts me first before anything or anyone else, even himself. He doesn't deserve this. It should be me.

"Erin... Wala kang kasalanan. It was my negligence." Zyair spoke and sat beside me, comforting me.
I leaned on his shoulders, trying not to cry.

"It was the assassin trying to kill you both" Raven said to us.

What did we ever do to deserve this? Why does someone want as assassinated?

"Bakit sila Erin? May mga rivalries ba ang Wyatt Industries lately? It must've been a rival company or something" Yuri said.

Everyone looked at Sky's direction. Napaatras siya. "Carter Industries may be Wyatt's number 1 rival right now but Kuya Leo is not a killer"

"It's not Leo" I said. It could never be Leo. I saw the panic and worry in his eyes when Zeyn was poisoned. Leo may be arrogant at times but I don't see him as a man who would kill someone. Or a mafia, having an underground business.

"Wala naman akong sinabi na si Leo. Baka ibang company. Or someone na may deep grudge sa inyong dalawa."

Nagkatinginan kami ni Zyair.

"Pano yan eh ang daming pinaiyak na babae ni Zyair, si Erin naman lahat tinatarayan. Kung usapang grudge, isang rebolusyon yan" Ethan blurted out.

Yago started laughing, "Sorry, natawa lang"

The others laughed too. And I as well. I can't believe we can still afford to laugh given our situation. But staying optimistic during a crisis is better than crying and being sad.
