Raven
On our way home, I dreamt about her.
I was actually on my way to find Erin to greet her personally before the party starts but a woman in a rose gold haltered dress caught my attention.
I suddenly forgot about my plan on finding Erin, instead, I walked up to the woman and grabbed her by the waist to somewhere private.
"Anong ginagawa mo dito?"
I asked without looking straight to her eyes. Her gaze reminds me of someone I hold dear. And I hate that she has her eyes.
"Raven, kailangan ko ng tulong mo"
I subsequently answered, "If it's cash, I'll transfer it to your bank account right away. Just don't go near me again."
"Hindi yun. Kailangan kita."
"I can't help you. My Dad will disown me."
Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko at nagmakaawa. Nilingon ko siya. Her eyes started to get cloudy.
"Raven, may anak ako."
"I'm sorry, Hannah. I can't help you."
Inalis ko ang pagkakahawak niya sa kamay ko at tinalikuran siya. I hear her sobbing but I did not look back.
That was the last time I saw her.
"Raven!" Nagising ako sa boses ni Zyair. When I opened my eyes, we already landed.
Kami na lang ni Zyair ang naiwan dito sa plane.
I closed my eyes and tried to relax. I am panting.
"Bad dream, huh?"
Tanong ni Zyair. He offered his hand to help me get up.
Tumango lang ako.
It was really bad. But it wasn't a dream.
It was a memory.

Erin
I woke up with a blanket wrapped around me. Weird. I don't remember putting on a blanket before I went to sleep.
Oh, but, whatever. I'm getting up. I have a terrible headache and I need a shot of espresso.
"Hello, Mommy Erin!"
I was greeted by a ball of sunshine.
Niyakap niya ako.
"Good morning to you, too, Scarlet." Inilibot ko ang paningin ko... unintentionally... or not.
Where is he?
"Si Leo?" Bigla na lang lumabas sa bibig ko.
"Maaga pong umalis kanina. May meeting daw kasi siya sa office." Sagot nung nanny ni Scarlet. I nodded and made my way to the kitchen.
Naghanap ako ng kahit anong kape na available dito sa kusina nila pero wala. Napansin naman nung nanny na naghahanap nga ako ng kape.
"Wala pong kape dyan. Gatas lang po ni Scarlet tsaka tea ni Sky and ang nandyan. Wala naman po kasing nagkakape dito. Bihira lang din naman mag-almusal dito si Sir Leo."
Right.
I just smiled and nodded as response. Okay, great. What now?
Disappointed, I just grabbed a bagel and sat on the kitchen stool while checking my phone.
