Days were running super fast for the PS house members with lots of things to be taken care of in a short period of time. Meena really had some serious issues with the way the family runs and the absence of some basic necessities like separate washrooms was also getting on her head a lot of times. They were taking care of her like a daughter of the family but still she was a pampered child for the major part of her life which seemed easy for her to leave behind but was not easy to forget. The problems given by her father and the struggles faced by the whole family because of that was the only factor which has made her silent in most situations. Dhanam was finding it hard to handle Meena because Meena thinks and acts exactly like a child does and Dhanam too was not going to let go of her stand in matters of the family.

The wedding was in a week's time and as they planned for a temple wedding, the burden for both Kathir and Mullai's family was reduced to a bare minimum. Mullai was happy from her heart and her silent times with Kathir in the shop where they both just sat together busy with their own works were her most favourite. They still fought their little fights whenever time permitted but they became so comfortable with each other that even the silence between them gave them immense pleasure. Kanna was a bit affected by the lack of peace in the house because he had not been used to ending his day with fights and frowning faces. Even though he liked his Kutty anni, the changes in the house because of her didn't seem welcoming for him.

Just a week before the wedding, Dhanam, Moorthy, Lakshmi amma, Parvathy and Murugan were busy inviting their families for the ceremony. Since they had minimised the list of people being invited, they decided to visit every house close to them informing a few and inviting the others. Lakshmi amma was taken along to very close relations. On one such day, it was semester holidays for Kanna so he had asked Meena to be in the shop with Jeeva and asked Kathir and Mullai to be with him in the house. He wanted to eat and talk freely without being afraid of a fight to break at the end of each conversation. He made his plan work somehow and Kathir, Mullai and Kanna had a great time cooking together. They had their lunch and were cleaning up the kitchen.

She finished her sentence and turned to the other side to see her to-be-husband throwing daggers at her through his eyes. She realised what she spoke and gave him a sheepish smile.

Kathir, who was holding vessels in his hands, dropped them all in one go hearing what Kanna suggested to his beloved future wife.
