~ The Little things ~

In a few days after Arul's visit, Jeeva's friend Aravind had come home to wish the newly married couples and had left proposing their stay in his resort in Kodaikanal for a week. Meena was adamant from the moment Kodaikanal was mentioned. Aravind wanted them to come in one or two days itself because the bookings were full from the coming week. Kathir's presence was indispensable in the shop since he deals with the customers in person and he can't leave it for a week just like that. Moorthy and Jeeva can very well handle through phone. So he told Mullai that let them stay home and send Moorthy and Dhanam instead. Finally it was almost night when they settled with a decision. Moorthy, Dhanam, Jeeva, Meena, Dhanam's mother and Lakshmi amma were to go to Kodaikanal. Mullai suggested the change of atmosphere for Dhanam and Lakshmi amma since they are always confined within the house. Kannan unfortunately had a lack of attendance and he can't afford to be absent from college for a week.

The next day they all left in a single big car and Meena was so disappointed with the turn of events. She left with a grumpy face. As soon as they left, Kannan went to college and Kathir-Mullai to the shop. What Mullai wanted was her time with Kathir being undisturbed. As far as they are together, any place is special for her. After that night where she saw him breakdown because of her, she promised herself that she would never leave him alone yearning for their time together.

Kathir, on the other hand, was unhappy for not taking her to Kodaikanal. She was working in the house and shop all day and had no time for herself at all. As soon as time permitted, he wanted to take her out somewhere. He knew her happiness lies in little things. He looked at his wife plunged into deep mathematics, breaking her head with it since morning. Her serious face was also so adorable and he was interrupted by the Annachi kadai tea and coffee. She let out a huge sigh before turning away from the accounts book.
