~ His Thunderstorm ~

The next week was a real rollercoaster. They had the biggest highs and the deepest lows too. The family was blessed with the much awaited happiest news of all their lives- Dhanam revealed to them that she was 40 days pregnant. They were all extremely content and felt that their family was fulfilled finally. They all really wanted Dhanam to bear the first grandchild of that family. It had finally come true but just like the effects of evil eye, they had so many new problems arising in the business. They doubted Meena's father being the reason but no one spoke it aloud. Janardhanan had given small disturbances all these days and now it was all coming together in a big destructive way.

Dhanam's mother had taken her home and wanted her to be with them at least till 3 months. Since the doctor also warned her to be very careful due to her late pregnancy, the whole family forced her to take rest there away from all responsibilities and duties. She deserves some peace in this phase of her life and the problems arising made everyone worried that it will affect Dhanam the most. The financial pressures were increasing in such a way that the brothers were hardly at home. They were all running day and night. Kannan too became kind of serious and spent most of his time helping in Pandian Stores.

But the most affected in all these happenings was Mullai. Dhanam's total responsibility was put on her shoulders. From taking care of Lakshmi amma, cooking for them all, doing household chores till maintaining the accounts of the shop, she was totally worn out. Dhanam had left only after Mullai promised to not to deal with anything related to the family carelessly. Kathir had no time to talk with her even for a few minutes. But Meena was a great help to her. She was doing a lot of things away from her comfort zone just because she didn't like Mullai working round the clock. But even though Meena tried, she had no experience dealing with heavy work. Her inexperience sometimes led to repeating many works and seeing Mullai losing sleep because of her mistake, Meena tried to restrict herself only to those little jobs she was confident about.

Kathir's birthday was just a few days away. She had great plans for him in spite of all the stress surrounding all of them. She was not ready to compromise her plans no matter how tough it would be for her. She had been discussing it with Kanna for many days. Kanna was genuinely happy about how blessed his brother was to have someone like his anni with him. Her face was so tired but her eyes shone with excitement and happiness whenever she discussed that topic.
