shadowwwwww........ s/o to my my shadow aka my best friend! wherever i go, you're always there :) lol get it, cuz it's my shadow hahaha my jokes are so bad i don't even know why i try anymore... special thanks to Bruhimkelly, yalieen_, sssunshine1, Vamprixussa, ProlificScribbler, Stressedflower4, leolantsov for reading and voting on my last few! also, thanks for all the comments, i love reading them! advice is welcome too... which of my poems do you like best, and why?

the pavement

the darkness

of your

shadow

is a

reflection

you see

yourself there

always

forgotten

never

needed

something

unnecessary

but there

tagging along

for the ride

sometimes

amusing

sometimes

odd

an outcast

yet not one

it's

funny

because you

thought

that you

belonged

that if you

wore the clothes

and talked the talk

and acted like them

you'd

fit in

but you don't

and you never will

you'll always be

that kid

something

different

something

weird

and it's like

their opinions

got to you

burrowed in

through your skin

where they sat

for years

and took a winding path

to your

heart

until that was

all

you believed in

people say that the world

would be better off

without them

it's a bit

dramatic

for your tastes

the world would be

better off

without you if you were

hitler

sure but

you

are unimportant

no matter how

important

you want to be

you are one in seven billion

that doesn't make you

special

that makes you the

opposite

of special

it makes you

expendable

nobody would care

if a bullet

went off

and your body

crumpled

maybe your

family

but even they

in time

would move on

they would forget

forget you

and who you were

your favorite

colors

and favorite

places

until there is

nobody

left to remember

and you are just a

shadow

lingering in the

memories

of people who

forgot

a long time ago
