Library of Ruina 'We stand again'

Chapter 8: New additions

Nathan's POV

Nathan: And that's pretty much the gist of it (I said finishing explaining the situation to Petra)

Currently we were all in the main room of the library and I was trying my best to summarize the whole scenario of the library and how exactly we got here and why we're all stuck here.

At some point Lily had woken up and came here looking for me and got really happy once she saw Petra who also had a look of relief once she saw that Lily was alright.

But anyway I had finished explaining everything to Petra who had just been standing there listening intently with her chainsaw katana still slung over her shoulder.

Petra: So just so I'm understanding this correctly...some people tried to kidnap Lily, you stopped them but then both of you were knocked out and dragged to this 'library' were you then ran into some rats who tried to mug you but you killed them and they turned into books because of this libraries power.

Petra: You were then brought by this Roland guy into this room were you met with Angela...the same Angela from lobotomy corporation, and now were all trapped here until we help Angela invite guests into this library, kill them so that they turn into books, and keep on doing so until we get some sort of perfect book for her that will set everyone free?

Nathan: Yeah that about sums up the situation.

Petra was definitely bewildered over the situation that me and Lily managed to find ourselves in, she tapped her chin a bit like she was trying to think of something before suddenly saying.

Petra: Can't we just...I don't know, Kill Angela right no-

Nathan: Don't even try Petra...it won't work...she's essentially a god here.

Angela: I wouldn't go as far as claiming that...but I can do just about anything thanks to the libraries power.

Petra: Um...Ok I'm pretty sure that-

Nathan: Alright moving on...Petra do you know how you actually got here in the library?

Petra: I...I honestly don't know...one minute I'm walking down the street looking for you and Lily...and the next thing I know I'm waking up in some fancy looking room and you all just appeared out of nowhere.

Angela: So we have another person appearing uninvited...(Sigh) how many times is this going to happen?

Nathan: Who knows? But point is Petra is with us here now.

Angela: Yes...now that brings up the question whether or not I should turn you into a book right now.

Petra: Whoa whoa hey wait a minute there-

Lily: No! (Lily cried out before jumping at Petra and holding onto her legs like she might disappear any second)

While Petra tried to calm down Lily I addressed Angela.

Nathan: Ok Angela first of all we're not turning Petra into a book, I believe that Petra can be a real help to us with getting your perfect book.

Petra: Y- yeah, I mean I am a Fixer for a reason and I may not look it but I'm sure I can handle the work here in this library.
