Chapter 19: Suppresion of 'B!a$#ta^k w!th@$t J@c*'

Nathan's POV

After killing the members from shield office I began to walk through the halls just looking for something to do, Lily was with Petra and Angela hadn't sent an invitation yet so I was just passing the time in any way that I could.

Nathan: Sheesh, those shield office guys especially Ethan put up a pretty good fight, and it's only going to get harder from here on out...I wonder if theirs any way for us to get better gear then what we're using right now.

As I was talking to myself I found myself back in that one hallway with the stone door that we could never open no matter what we tried, I happened to glance at said door and continue on my way only to do a double take when I noticed something about the door.

The door was still shut tight and the chains on it were still there, but this time there was a book attached to them.

Nathan: This wasn't here earlier (I said before walking towards the book and leaning over to read the title)

Most of the cover was scratched out but I was just able to make out the words.

Nathan: Huh...now that I look closer this looks like one of those abnormality books that Angela-

All of a sudden the book flew open on its own, I was just able to catch a glance at an image of a beanstalk in a huge field when suddenly a bright light shinned from the book blinding me.

Meanwhile

Lily's POV

Hi everyone, so I know I was supposed to stay with Ms Petra while daddy wasn't around but I wanted to see what else was here in the library so I snuck away when her back was turned.

So right now I'm walking down the steps that lead to those other floors, I tried to open a few of the locked doors but no matter how hard I tried they just wouldn't budge so I moved on to the lower floors.

Lily: I wonder if I should visit Ms Malkuth or Hod, they seemed pretty nice, I wonder if they have any sweets.

So I was about to go and see one of them when I noticed a door that didn't seem locked, it had a dark green door the same color as me and mommies eyes, so maybe there's something good through here.

Slowly I pushed the door open and peeked inside, the room looked a little weird with all these green lights like fireflies floating around but there didn't seem to be anything dangerous inside so I made my way in and just looked around a bit.

Lily: Hmm...this place makes me uncomfortable.

Maybe coming here was a mistake, maybe I should just leave while-

'Bump'

While I was backing up I happened to bump into someone, I slowly turned around while looking up and came face to face with a man wearing an outfit similar to what the other librarians were wearing, his hair was a dark shade of green and tied into a bun which made it look a little funny.

We both just stared at each other awkwardly, they had a bored look on their face but their eyes were wide like they were surprised to see me.

Lily: Um...Hi.

Man: Hey...(hic) what's a kid like you doing here?

Lily: Um n- nothing sir, I was just exploring the library because I was bored.
