There were numerous of reasons why Melody didn't want to wake up and go out of bed just yet.

The morning breeze felt cool on her skin, it felt nice staying under the sheets and maybe have someone to cuddle with.

The bed felt comfy as ever. How she wished it is a weekend so she could stay in late as much as she wanted.

Just before she gained conscious she was having a nice dream.

She was in a beautiful forest with a meadow full of wild flowers. If she knew a place like that, she'd love staying there and write her novels.

In her dream, she was wearing a beautiful lacy dress that ended just at the middle of her thighs. She was just there walking in the meadow taking all things in. How it looked peaceful and calming. The picturesque scene literally made her smile. She heard someone calling her name, the voice was quite familiar. But before she was able to ponder who it was from, she woke up.

That's when her eyes met a set of beautiful dark brown eyes staring at her.

She could definitely add that to the list of reasons why she wouldn't want to go out of bed yet, she thought. And oh, apparently, she was cuddling the handsome guy.

She had to admit he is dreamy. Is she still dreaming? Maybe she is. She pondered. Her brain is still a bit drowsy from her sleep.

She just looked at him, still processing who he was, his face just inches from hers. There was something in those dark brown eyes. It's too familiar... That's when she realized who it was.

Clarence!

Her eyes went wide as a platter. Right then and there she was having a panic attack deep inside. It felt as if being poured a bucket of cold water.

What's embarrassing is here she is AGAIN waking up, hugging him coupled with her leg propped on him.

By this second time around he must be thinking she was doing it on purpose.

An uncontrollable heat came flushing through her cheeks. She didn't have to look in the mirror to know that she's making a great impersonation of a tomato.

Normally she would have been doing something stupid out of impulse by now, like punching or kicking him away.

They'd probably have a repeat of the last time this scenario happened.

But instead she found herself stuck looking at Clarence's face. She blinked a couple of times trying to ease her embarrassment.

Even before, Melody can't disagree that Clarence is in deed handsome. And if the numerous of girls that chase him during their teenage years wasn't enough of a proof, she don't know what else would.

The trance from awhile ago came back. Up this close all his facial features were more emphasized, his light tan, his pointy nose, tantalizing brown eyes.

And his lips. She found herself focusing on his lips. It could make any panty drop with a simple smile, coupled with those pearl white teeth, it'll make your heart skip a beat.

It could even make you nervous and bring a feel of mischief by just a simple smirk.

Looking at the Clarence she know now, and the Clarence she knew before she could pinpoint a bunch of difference. Or maybe he's still him. The only difference is that she knew him better now.

Maybe if she'd known him better before; the way she does now, they might have hit it off as close friends.

'Or maybe even more than that.' The last thought shocked and bugged her in higher notch.
