Taking a long taxi ride from the airport and boarding a boat to reach their destination was definitely worth the hassle.

Clarence heard Melody gasped in awe as they approached the island.

Who wouldn't though?

The sight of the cove was breath taking.

The calm crystal blue water blended almost to a shade of green as it came closer to the shoreline. And the sand on its beach was pure white. Clarence can almost imagine the powdered sugar feel of it against his feet.

The island cove gave out an enchanted feel with its mountain adorned with high stone and fauna formation just behind the beach.

It was a painting of paradise taken out to real life.

He took a deep breath, taking in the smell of the ocean air.

The warm feeling grew even more at the sight of Melody's bright smile. Her excitement, ever oh so palpable while she took pictures on her phone while Darren recorded from their GoPro.

"I'll just have the room here and you two can have the room upstairs." Darren declared after they toured their cabin.

"Sure... What's on our itinerary?" Clarence queried. Since Melody and Darren eagerly took the task on planning their getaway.

"We have the whole day free today for settling and relaxing at the cabin or for the beach." Melody answered as Darren added;

"By early tomorrow morning we'll start island hopping. But before that, does anyone care to join me in the Jacuzzi?" He expectantly asked, giving Melody a Cheshire cat smile.

"I'll pass!"

"Hands off, buddy!"

Melody and Clarence exclaimed at the same time.

Darren chuckled, "Okay, okay! Calm down, you love birds!"

Just after fixing their stuffs the three immediately headed to the beach.

"Look at her." Clarence almost sighed, musing at how enthusiastic Melody overtook them as she made her way to the water.

"Is she actually wearing that though?" Darren asked pertaining to the oversized white shirt Melody was wearing.

"Well... she told me she had her swimsuits reserved for tomorrow's island hopping." Clarence shrugged at his brother.

"Aww." Clarence quickly turned his head and squinted at Darren. By the sounds of it, it was as if he was disappointed and was looking forward on seeing Melody in a swimsuit. Not that he wasn't looking forward to it himself.

They frolicked in the water until it was noon. And decided to have their lunch at a nearby outdoor restaurant which consist of aligned nipa huts serving seafood. It was nearby the shore and were surrounded with full bloomed frangipanis.

"Their crabs are the best!" Darren exclaimed quite contented as they walk their way to their cabin.

Clarence on the other hand was busy looking at Melody who stopped under a frangipani tree. She was trying to pick a flower but was having a hard time to reach up to it. Noticing this Clarence strode close her and reach for the flower him self.

"Here." He said softly, placing the flower on Melody's ear.

"Thanks."

He looked down at her bashful smiling face as it turned to his favorite shade.

A drop of water slid down from her still damp hair which made him unintentionally follow its trail down to her shirt.

Her shirt which was also still wet from their swim was now see-through giving Clarence an enticing view of her underwear.
