We are finally back at school and all I've been doing since we got back is studying. The OWLS are closing in and I need to be prepared. I'm absolute shit at potions so I've been working a lot with Lily and Remus to try and get better.
"Come on love just come with me for a little bit you know you need the break" Sirius says taking a book out of my hands. I give him a look and take it back.
"Just go I have a date with Ollie soon anyway and you need a break none of your notes are making any sense anymore" Lily says taking the book. Lily and Ollie kissed on New Years and have been dating sense.
"See come on I'll get your mind off studying for a few hours and when you come back to it you will have a fresh head" Sirius says grabbing my hand and pulling me up. He grabs all my things and puts them in my bag.
"Okay I'll go drop this off upstairs and grab some more clothes its freezing out" I say sending Sirius a smile when he passes me my bag. I rush up the stairs drop my bag on my bed and grab a scarf a hat and a coat. I walk back down the stairs buttoning up my coat. "I'm ready lets go" I say to Sirius. He already had his coat and things.
"I'm so excited to ride your bike" I say grinning from ear to ear.
"I'm starting to think that present was more for you than for me" Sirius says pulling me into his side as we walk outside to Hagrid's house. Hagrid lets Sirius keep his bike there. I don't say anything because it's a little true. I go up and knock on the door. It swings open to reveal a happy looking Hagrid.
"'Ello Sirius Elena here for yer bike" Hagrid asks. I nod.
"Yup how are you Hagrid" I ask as he leads us around to where the bike is kept.
"Oh I'm good jus been tidying up from the break" he says.
"That's good thank you so much" I say as we reach the bike.
"All righ' you two be careful now" he says. We say we will and Sirius climbs onto the bike then puts out a hand to help me on. We put on our helmets and start it. He takes us through a path in the woods that leads to this clearing where us Marauders sometimes like to go. It takes a while to get there and I just lay my head on his back while he drives. When we get there we get off and go sit on this big rock that is in the clearing.
"So how have you been I've been studying so much lately we haven't really gotten a chance to hang out" I say leaning against Sirius and rubbing my hands together to warm them up.
"Give me your hands" he says rolling his eyes. When he holds them they start to warm up, "why do you always forget gloves, anyway I've been okay I guess I have missed you a lot and I'm getting tired of only having James to hang out with" he says laughing a little.
"Yeah that can really take a toll on a person" I say holding back a smile.
"How have you been" he asks.
"Umm I honestly don't know I don't think I'm a person anymore, I am studying I'm no longer Elena" I say with a sigh. It feels good to just be here these days all I do is go to class study and sleep. Even when I'm eating I'm studying.
"I don't even want to think of what you will be like for NEWTs" he says.
"Me either I just can't wait for summer then I can just not have to worry about anything except having fun with you guys" I say.
"Speaking of summer will your dad be around much" he asks.
"He has to work but I have a feeling I will see him more this summer" I say.
"You and your feelings" he says grinning at me.
"I know I know but I'm a little nervous I have a really bad feeling about this summer like the worst since my mom died" I say looking down. I'm not a seer but I do get these feelings sometimes about things and they are usually right.
"Well I doubt anything bad will happen to us you are probably just sensing the brewing war" he says.
"Probably these are scary times"
"Yeah I'm worried about Reg" he says.
"Don't be he will be fine I talk to him all the time and I can tell you he has a good head on his shoulders he won't do anything to put himself in danger and I told him he could always come stay with me if he has to" I said.
"Thank you so much I told him he could come to the Potters but he has never really gotten along with James and to be honest me but I have been so worried" Sirius says.
"It's no problem at all he's one of my closest friends I would do anything for him and he's your brother you know how much I love you I could never let anything happen to him it would crush you" I say reaching up to touch his face.
"I love you too more than you know" Sirius says.
Authors Note- Okay I spent a long time sitting on these chapters I'm about to post trying to decide whether or not to post them. Some of them are shorter others longer. I think I'm posting either 16 or 17 total. I might eventually go back and change some stuff.
