"LILY" I shout running and giving her a hug. "Reg is here he's gonna be staying with us in our room" I say pulling back from our hug.

"Oh okay where is everyone" she asks looking around at the seemingly empty house.

"The boys ran out to get some supplies for the party and the Potters are out until tomorrow" I say pulling her up to our room.

"Cool is Regulus with them" she asks.

"Yeah him and Ollie really get along" I say. We make it to the room and she sets her bag down.

"Yeah he told me in his letters I'm glad, does he get along with the others" she asks getting out the stuff we will need to get ready.

"Everyone except James although he seems to be warming up a little" I say pulling out my makeup.

"Speaking of the boys how are things going with them especially Remus have you guys talked yet" she asks.

"Not yet I plan to have a decision by the start of the school year I don't want to rush in" I say.

"Yeah I was always rooting for you and James but I'll be happy for you either way" she says making me hit her arm.

"James is just my friend we don't like each other" I say and she starts on my makeup.

"Maybe you don't like him but he is in love with you and besides you always used to say that about Remus too and how long has he had a crush on you" she asks rhetorically.

"That was a super weird circumstance not likely to repeat and James isn't in love with me he is just affectionate" I say trying not to move my face too much.

"Well I'll leave that alone for now but that doesn't mean I agree with you" she says.

"Are you almost done" Sirius shouts up to us. We just have to put on our clothes. The boys got back a half hour ago and they have both gotten ready and set up.

"Yes" I call back. Lily puts on her dress and I put on my jumpsuit and we head down. Lily immediately goes to Ollie as they haven't seen each other all summer. I look around and notice the other boys staring at me besides Reg who keeps looking back and forth between me and the others with raised eyebrows.

"Well this is awkward should I just leave you four alone" Reg says breaking the tension.

"Shut up Reg, love you look-" he cuts off.

"Amazing" James says.

"More than that" Remus whispers. I just roll my eyes, these boys act like they don't already know I clean up nice.

"Okay when are people gonna start getting here" I ask. They say any minute now. We invited people from Hogwarts as well as random friends that we've met through the years on vacations, trips into towns things like that and told them to bring whoever as long as they were and by that we mostly meant not pureblood maniacs. I grab James' hand and drag him with me to the kitchen.

"Where are we going" he asks a little excitement in his voice.

"Kitchen you're gonna help me make drinks host" I say. We only are using muggle things and we hid all the moving paintings and things like that because we have a few muggle guests coming.

"I don't know how to make anything with this kind of alcohol" he says. I laugh.

"Well you're gonna learn you can be my assistant" I say getting out all the stuff we will need.
