"So what are you boys doing while I'm with the girls today" I say to Ollie and Reg at breakfast. Me and the girls are having a much needed girls day out.
"Well I'm going out with Sirius for the day he said we needed to bond outside of the group and I agree" Reg says.
"That's great" I say, "What about you Ollie" I ask.
"I think I'm just gonna hang out here today it's been a while since I've had the house to myself" Ollie says.
"Cool well I'll probably be home late do you know when dad will be home" I ask.
"He said it will probably be an all nighter tonight and that it may be morning before he's home since he has tomorrow off and can sleep then" Ollie says and I go to put my plate in the sink. I'm already ready so I'm just waiting for Lily to come by Floo so we can take the bus to meet the others together.
"Okay Reg what time are you coming home" I ask to make conversation.
"I might crash at the Potters if we are out late which knowing Sirius we probably will be" he says making me laugh.
"Cool so I'll probably be the last one home tonight I'll lock up" I say. I hear a poof in the other room. "That's probably Lily" I say and walk into the living room the boys trailing behind me.
"Hey guys" Lily says hugging me then Ollie then Regulus.
"Hey Lily" me and Reg say while Ollie says "Hey babe" in a lovey voice making me scrunch up my nose at how obnoxiously cute they are.
"Okay Lil you ready" I say after a few minutes of talking.
"Yep" Lily says giving Ollie a quick kiss and both of us give hugs before walking to the door and out it.
"So how was it with your sister and that cow Vernon" I say, "you know what I take that back that's an insult to cows" I say and she laughs.
"Dreadful but they are moving into their own place today so hopefully I won't have to see them as much" she says.
"That's wonderful news" I say.
"I'm so excited to see the girls it feels like its been ages since we saw them" Lily says as we reach the bus stop and take a seat to wait for it.
"Me too it will be fun to have a day with them it feels like we don't all spend a lot of time together" I say.
"Yeah as we have gotten older we've kind of all gone our separate ways me and you with the boys Marlene and Mary with their other friends and Alice with Frank and their friends it's bound to happen but I'm glad we still all have each others backs and can get together sometimes" she says.
"Yeah that tends to happen with friends as time goes on I can't even tell you the last time I had a full conversation with Peter and I haven't even seen him all summer" I say. "I know that he is still a marauder and that when it comes down to it he will be there for us but he just has other priorities and you can't always maintain both" I say.
"Yeah that does make sense it's a little sad but I guess that's life only some connections really stick" she says as the bus pulls up. We climb on and take a seat near this boys that look our age. I see him peaking glances at us and smiling and I nudge Lily and signal to him. We both laugh a little. "Which one of us do you think he's looking at" I whisper.
"Does it matter I have a boyfriend and you have a line" Lily jokes. He moves back a seat to be beside us.
"Hey" he says sending me a smile. Lily nudges me and sends me a look that says 'that's you then'.
