I don't know who thought this would be a good idea. Marlene keeps complaining, Alice keeps whining that her boyfriend wasn't invited but I got to invite all of mine, Lily keeps yelling at James Sirius and Ollie for their stupid Jokes and is currently lecturing them, Mary fell asleep 20 minutes in, Remus looks like he wants to leave and clearly has a headache, and I am trying to calm everyone down.
"Okay guys really calm down Marlene girls night isn't ruined because this was never a girls night, Alice if you are so upset just go get Frank, Lily leave the boys be you know they aren't gonna stop no matter what you say, Remus love would you like some tea or something" I say going through the list of complaints in my head then turning to Remus.
"Tea would be lovely thanks" Remus says.
"James go get us all some tea please dear" I say giving him a sweet smile.
"Alright Elly" he says and walks out. Lily hits me in the arm.
"Don't do that" Lily says making me laugh. He never minds and I do stuff for him all the time to so I don't see a problem with it.
"Whatever okay why don't we play a game or something" I say "should we wake Mary" I ask.
"No let her sleep she will just be cranky if we do" Marlene says. "Why don't we play spin the bottle" she says.
"Nope no way" I say sitting up.
"Why not that's no fun" Marlene says. I think about for a second look over at the boys and immediately shake my head.
"Because I don't like that game someone's feelings always end up hurt and at least one friendship always ends" I say remembering years of playing that games at parties.
"You are just saying that because you don't want anyone kissing your boyfriends" she says making me glare at her.
"Marlene stop" Lily says.
"Why we all know its true" she says laughing a little. I don't.
"Okay that's enough lets play something else" Lily says again actually shutting her up this time.
"What about charades" Sirius suggests. He loves that game because he loves dramatically miming things that are in no way dramatic.
"Okay teams or no" I ask.
"Lets do no teams I think its more fun that way" Remus says.
"Okay lets wait for Alice and James to come back before we start" Lily says. "Lets all write down some topics while we wait though" Lily says pulling out pieces of paper and pens. We all start writing. I think of as many movies, characters, and books I can because I think its more fun when its pop culture rather than just random. When James gets back with the tea and Alice with Frank we start. We go through a few quick rounds and then its my turn. I go up and pull a paper. The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. I mime book. Three word. Second word. I try to mime a hand bell and it takes a while but finally Alice gets it. Then I start miming Jar which takes much longer. Lily is the one that ultimately gets it.
"Who wrote that one" I ask as I sit down.
"I did and I thought I got it after bell but I wasn't quite sure" he says. After a few more rounds its Ollie's turn. He get up and reads a paper he looks so confused. He mimes unknown category and starts miming the words. It takes forever but finally Lily gets it.
"Oh is it The Human Comedy" she asks excited.
"Yeah what the hell is that" Ollie asks sitting down after way too long.
"It's this really good old movie that my dad loves" she says but doesn't take the time to describe the plot so we can keep going.

"That was fun we should make this a tradition" Ollie says after hours of games when we are all finally tired and ready to go to bed.
"Yeah definitely it was the most fun I've had since before exams" Lily says cuddling up to Ollie. We are all sleeping on various couches and palettes on the floor. I called a couch to myself very early on in the night and the boys, other than Ollie and Frank who are sharing couches with their girlfriends, all made a palette by me.
"Are you guys excited for summer" I ask.
"Yeah we should definitely all get together sometime this summer" James says. Everyone is in agreement.
"I think I will invite Regulus" I announce. Everyone looks at me then at Sirius.
"That's not a bad idea" Sirius says surprising everyone except me, I already knew he was perfectly okay with Regulus because of him thanking me for giving him a place to go if he needs it.
"Yeah I've missed him a lot this year we don't get to talk too much now" I say. Everyone has gone on to their own conversations so now I'm just talking to Sirius.
"I've missed him too last summer when I left home it meant basically the end of us being able to talk" he says.
"Yeah I get that hopefully he gets the courage to leave too and come live with me I can't stand to see him there" I say.
"Yeah it kills me knowing he is still in that situation when I got out it should have been him that got out" Sirius says quietly.
"Hey don't say that you know that you didn't have a choice you deserve better than that house and so does he but don't act like you were in the same situation when you know you weren't he might have had it bad but you had it much worse and you offered for him to come with you that's all you can do just like all I can do is offer him a place with me" I say comforting Sirius.
"I know I'm just worried what if they try to make him get the mark" Sirius says.
"He is smart he will know to leave if it comes to that and he knows where to go" I say hoping I'm right.
