i like me better lauv
"still know that im good long as youre here with me."

"i cant believe how big those waffles were!" clairo said to me as i held open the door into her house.

"okay, but are you telling me it wasn't delicious?" i asked as i closed it behind me, kicking off our shoes.

"it was the best waffle ive ever had but it was as big as my face," she laughed at herself as she walked towards her fridge to put away her food.

i turned back to lock her door and then caught back up with her in the kitchen.

"what time do you have to be at lukes?" she asked as she turned back around from the fridge.

"uhh, i think he told me around six. he was gonna get pizza," i told her. "so weve got 5 hours to kill."

"well," she said walking back over to me. "what do you want to do?"

"well," i copied her. what do you want to do?"

"i dont know," she said to me. "we could watch netflix or something."

"okay," i replied.

i honestly didnt care what we did, as long as i was with her.

she led me over to the couch, grabbing the remote and a blanket and sitting down beside me.

she unfolded the blanket over us, her head laying in my lap. she started clicking through netflix with the remote as my hand made its way to her hair.

"what do you want to watch?" she asked, looking up to me.

"are you watching any shows right now that you just want to keep watching?" i asked her, amazed by the beauty in her blue eyes.

"uhh yeah," she said looking back over to the tv. "ive been watching criminal minds."

"really?" i asked. "what season are you on?"

ive watched criminal minds a couple of times now.

"like half way through season 6," she told me.

"what episode is next?" i asked, knowing she was getting to a good point.

she scrolled up to the criminal minds icon, "sixteen."

"aww, coda," i said. "youll love this episode."

"you wanna watch it then?" she asked, looking back up to me.

"yeah, if you want to," i told her.

"okay," she said excitedly, pressing play.

she rolled over in my lap to face the tv. i leaned back, one hand proping my head up, the other playing with clairos hair.

i noticed last night she fell asleep faster when i did this. it just calmed and comforted her, so i continued to do it.

my favorite part of watching these episodes with her is watching her pretty little mind figure it out before the bau team did.

everytime she would catch on to something, i would hear her gasp and then she would fill me in on who she thought did it and why.

everytime she would ask me if she was right, i would only shrug. it made her mad but i refused to spoil it for her.

by the end of the episode she had worked it out, and she seemed proud she did.

we watched the next episode too, her pretty little mind working through it yet again but her concern grew for emily as the episode went on.

i knew what happened in the next episode and it took quite a lot of will power not to say anything.

she watched the next episode on edge and i grew concerned she was going to cry by the end, especially because she hasnt watched passed it yet.

i heard a small whimper come from her when she listened to reid say, "i never even got to say goodbye."

i rubbed her shoulder in hopes of keeping her from crying but i dont know how much use it did.

she was so connected to these characters that losing them felt like family, and i understood that.

the first time i watched it too, i almost started crying thinking she was dead too.

then at the end, when jj gives her the envelope in paris and we see her stubbed finger nails, she starts to figure it out.

"oh my god, shes alive?" clairo whimpered through tears. "is she alive?" she turned to me.

"that would be called s spoiler, yellow," i said smiling at her.

"i hate you sometimes," she smiled turning back to the tv, starting the next episode.

we watched most of the end of season 6 by the time 5:30 rolled around. when the finale came to an end, i finally spoke up.

i didnt want to move. we were so comfortable and just being like this with her made me feel happier than anything else.

just being with her made me feel more alive than anything else.

"you ready to go to lukes?" i finally asked as she reached for the remote.

"yeah," she said shutting off the tv. "im just have to go change. i dont want to move though."

"me either, but im always the late one and they will probably be mad if i am again," i told her.

"fine," she said sitting up. "ill be back."

she headed into her room to change clothes as i picked up my phone.

i closed my phone laughing at their antics. i heard clairos bedroom door close.

i looked over to her. she was looking at something on her phone as she walked. she was wearing my rolling stones tshirt i had given her to where home after we went swimming.

it made me smile more than i should admit. but per usual, it looked better on her anyways.

"you ready to go, yellow?" she asked looking up from her phone.

"yeah," i said standing up from the couch. "everything okay?

"uhh yeah," she was still looking at her phone. "my mom just keeps texting me."

"shes okay with you coming tonight, right?" i asked concerned.

"yeah," she said taking a deep breath, "but shes demanding to meet all four of you at some point cause she has no trust in me."

"im sure if foods involved the boys would do it," i told her.

"you think?" she asked

"oh yeah, every single one of them are whores for food," i laughed to her. "youll see tonight when they fight over pizza."
