"We openly defied you because your ideas suck,"

Ever since the gun went off, everybody had been acting strangely. Sam had been pretending he had a twin brother named Evan, Tina was trying out a bunch of new looks, Brittany was suddenly some genius and Unique was taking birth control pills so she could have boobs. I suppose I couldn't really judge though, I had started acting differently as well - I kind of just stopped talking and I don't think I had let go off Blaine's hand for about a week. He was still staying at mine, and we had made a deal that when his parents came back that half the week we would stay at his and the other half of the week he stayed at mine so we were never apart. Like i just said, I had stopped talking to everyone, apart from Blaine and my sister. Anything i needed to say, I whispered to Blaine and he reiterated to everyone. We were on Glee club when Sam came running in.
"Guys, have you... seen my twin? Oh! Getting a call. Hold on. Oh, hey. Man, I was just looking for you!" He said before running out again. Sam - wait, no - Evan walked in again, smiling brightly.
"All right, bro. Well, I'll tell 'em you said hi." Evan said in a Australian accent. I tugged on Blaine's hand and pulled him closer to me, whispering in his ear.
"Kara said to say 'hi' to Sam. And she also says 'hi' to you Evan." Blaine said for me, I smiled gratefully and waved at Evan, who waved back happily. Mr. Schue walked in and everyone took their seats.
"Big news, guys. I just got a direct tweet from the Greater Midwest Regional. High School Show Choir Board of Directors." He announced, eliciting light cheers from everyone. "The theme for this year's regionals is..."
"Sweaters." Brittany suggested hopefully.
"....dreams." Mr. Schue finished with a confused look over at Brittany.
"Close." She muttered.
"As you know, some of the past judges we've had haven't been that bright, or that sober, so our best bet is to take the dream theme literally. We'll start out with 'Dream Weaver' and then we'll segue into 'Sweet Dreams' and we'll bring it home with 'You Make My Dreams Come True.'" Mr. Schue said, making Marley frown. "Marley, you're frowning."
"No. I just don't know any of those songs." She said, slightly distressed.
"Well, you'll know them soon enough because we're learning them today." Mr. Schue said dismissively. Marley cleared her throat, trying to build up courage as Mr. Schue handed everyone the sheet music.
"Maybe... could we try some original songs, like you did two years ago?" Marley suggested nervously.
"Yeah, my twin brother Sam told me you guys totally crushed Regionals two years ago with those sweet tunes." Evan said excitedly.
"Well, S...um, Evan, that was a different time and a different team." Mr. Schue said coldly.
"Mr. Schue, could we at least talk about the set list? I mean, when Finn was here, we got to help.."
"Do I have to remind you guys how lucky we are to even be at Regionals?" Mr. Schue said, cutting Marley off. "We're there on a technicality, which means there's absolutely no room for even the smallest of mistakes. Trust me." He glanced around the room and his eyes settled on me, for some reason. I shuffled uncomfortably under his gaze and squeezed Blaine's hand tightly. "Anybody else have something they want to say?" He said, trying to prompt me into speaking. I pulled Blaine closer to me and whispered in his ear.
"Kara said 'no'." He said for me. Mr. Schue sighed but nodded his head.
"Okay, Brad, warm 'em up."
