"You are my queen, prom or not."

"So how does it work with teen marriage?" Sam asked as he and I laid down on top of the piano whilst Blaine played it.

"The same as normal marriage, Sam." I said, poking his side.

"No, I meant like are you going to take Blaine's surname or is Blaine going to take yours? Or are you guys going to hyphenate, 'cause..."

"Right now, I'm honestly just happy Kara said yes." Blaine said, cutting off Sam. I flipped over onto my stomach and propped my head up on my elbows, gazing at Blaine lovingly.

"How could I ever say no?" He smiled softly and leaned forward, pressing a kiss to my cheek. I laid back down next to Sam and fiddled with the ring on my finger.

"Hey, are you looking forward to prom?" Blaine asked Sam excitedly.

"I fell asleep last night while Tina was texting my about prom dresses, we're going to buy ours after school today with Marley, Kitty and Unique." I said, partially informing Blaine of my whereabouts.

"It's really nice that you're going with her, by the way." Blaine added, patting Sam's shoulder.

"Yeah, I guess so. I don't know, I just... you know, it's my senior prom, so I kind of wish I was going with somebody I really care about." Sam sat up, pulling me up with him, he had a prominent frown on his face. "Damn, I have seriously been unlucky in love."

"You've not been unlucky, you just haven't found the right person yet." I said, taking Sam's hand and squeezing it reassuringly as Mr. Schue strolled into the room.

"Come on, guys, we're back with the Beatles!" Mr. Schue announced excitedly. Sam hopped off of the piano and Blaine came to help me off.

"I appreciate the help, Blainie, but I'm not so short that I can't hop off of the piano." I said as he wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted me up.

"I know, I just wanted to carry you." He said, flinging me over his shoulder. I squealed and hit his back repeatedly until he put me down in the seat beside his.

"You, mister, are bloody lucky I'm wearing jeans today, otherwise the whole glee club would've just seen my underwear." I said bitterly as I flattened down my hair.

"Oh, hush, you big baby."

"We're leaving the mop-tops behind and moving into their experimental years. Now, the Rubber Soul album marked a turning point for the group, where they literally and figuratively let their hair down. Now, the Beatles were the biggest musical act in the world. They could have remained in their comfort zones, but instead, they risked everything to explore new musical worlds. They had something important to say, and they weren't going to let something as silly as the fear of failure get in their way." Mr. Schue said, drawing my attention away from Blaine and back to the class. He went to continue on but was interrupted by Sue - who was now principal - talking over the PA.

"Good afternoon, McKinley High. This year, the proms are being fused into one giant Brundleprom." She announced.

"What's a Brundleprom?" Marley asked confusedly.

"I don't get that reference." Jake said, as confused as Marley. I knew the reference from somewhere but couldn't place it.

"That's from The Fly. " Ryder said and it finally clicked in my brain.

"Yes! Oh, I love that film." I said, fist-bumping Ryder. "I tried to get Blaine to watch it with me but he freaked out. Doesn't like horror movies."
