"Okay, is it wrong to brag about my insanely talented fiancée to total strangers on the internet?"

The New Directions and I sat in the choir room, waiting for Burt and Carole to arrive as Mr. Schue spoke to Sam in his office. When Burt and Carole finally arrived, Blaine dragged me out of my seat and we went over, giving the two adults hugs. Once everyone had hugged everyone, we sat down, waiting for Burt and Carole to give us a pep talk or something.

"We just wanted to come in and say that, uh, Finn really cared about you guys. More than you know." Burt said, bringing a soft smile to my face. I looked over at Blaine, taking his hand in mine and interlocking our fingers.

"Finn always said that winning nationals was the greatest accomplishment of his life. But I honestly believe that coaching you guys to winning would have meant even more to him." Carole said, her eyes becoming slightly glassy with tears.

"Now, now we're not saying go out there and win it for Finn. That wasn't his style. Um, what Finn would have said was this is the time of your lives right now. You're never gonna forget it, and in a moment, it's all gonna be over." Burt said, I sniffled quietly, trying to supress the tears that pricked my eyes.

"So no sad faces. No regrets. Just go out there and have a blast, and, you know, it'll be okay if you won the damn thing." Carole said, making the Glee club laugh softly.

"And the best part about it is that Burt and Carole have agreed to come with us as chaperones." Mr. Schue announced, eliciting cheers out of the group. "But I think before we go, we need a little mood music to send us off. Brad?"

[I Love L.A. by Randy Newman (sung by Will, Blaine, Artie, Sam, Jake and the New Directions)]

Somehow, by the end of the song, we were in L.A. It was a bit strange, i hadn't been here in two years but I have to admit, I did miss the sun. And this time i was here with my best friends and my fiancé, I was happy to be here. The only thoughts I had were positive ones about winning, not bad ones about how I wasn't loved and wanted to die. It just showed how much I had grown, and how much happier I was - all because of the Glee club.

Everyone waited in the middle of the hotel lobby, waiting for the keys to our hotel rooms as Mr. Schue argued with the lady at the reception. I chatted away with Unique, stopping the conversation as Kitty tapped the both of us excitedly.

"Don't look now, but I think someone famous just came in!" Kitty exclaimed excitedly, pointing to a woman who walked through the double door entrance to the hotel.

"Even better! It's Mercedes Jones!" Unique said happily. I chuckled softly at the look of realisation on Kitty's face and slung my arm around her shoulders. The group walked over to her, greeting her excitedly.

"I was hoping you'd make it!" Tina said as she and I hugged Mercedes.

"Are you crazy? I wouldn't miss this for the world." She said, tightening the hug.

"Ooh, I heard that you got a record contract because either Usher, Kelly Clarkson or Michael Jackson's daddy bought your album in a 7-Eleven parking lot." Unique said, prompting Mercedes to tell us about her record deal.

"I was selling my CD Hell 2 the No in a parking lot. Now, I ain't gonna lie, business was wack. But then this Mexican lady bought one. I think she felt sorry for me. Turns out, that Mexican angel on earth was the housekeeper to Kanye West. She gave it to Kanye, who gave it to Kim, and she gave it to Ryan Seacrest, who gave it to Sony Records.. the Sony Records. Next thing I know, I'm sipping Perrier with a bunch of rich dudes." She explained excitedly.
