There is a 4 month time skip, so Kara is two months into her freshman year at NYU

"Sometimes, I feel like you and I are the only sane ones in this apartment."

Blaine met me outside NYU after my classes like he did most days and we had the plan to meet Sam, Artie, Rachel and Kurt to go and get lunch. He handed me a coffee, wrapping his arms around my shoulder and we headed off to meet our friends.
[Downtown by Petula Clark (sung by Rachel, Kurt, Blaine, Kara, Artie and Sam)]
We met up with Kurt, Sam and Artie, spotting Rachel driving up to us in an awesome town car. She jumped out of the car once it stopped and straight at us, throwing her arms around Kurt. She then proceeded to tell us about her new fancy car and I couldn't help but feel like she was bragging just a little bit.
"I can call him any time of day, he's amazing. He doesn't even say a word. It's like living in a high-end coffee commercial every day." Rachel boasted excitedly.
"Unbelievable." Kurt said, shaking his head playfully
"So, where we going for lunch?" Artie asked as I wrapped my coat tighter around me, the cold New York air, whipping my hair around.
"Somewhere close, I have to be back at NYU for my Photography lecture in an hour and a half." I said, tucking my hair behind my ear.
"What about someplace cheap or free?" Sam suggested hopefully.
"No, it is my treat and my ride. You guys have been so great and so emotionally supportive of me during the entire out of town Funny Girl run."
"And for your move back to the loft, which you never carried your own clothes or furniture." Kurt pointed out with a playful bitterness to his voice.
"It's heavy." Rachel justified weakly.
"Come on, we're going. We're gonna go the Odeon." She said, linking arms with Kurt and dragging him over to her car. Blaine moved his arm from around my shoulders to around my waist and I did the same to him, holding him close. We chatted away as we crossed the road to Rachel's car about Broadway and how cool of Rachel and Kurt it was to let Blaine and I move into Santana's old room until we found our own apartment.
"Can we pop the trunk?" Rachel asked her driver.
"Trunk is full." He informed her.
"Can I sit in the front then?" She asked hopefully.
"Full, too." The driver said nonchalantly.
"Oh, it's okay, Sam and I can meet you there." Artie said, trying to come up with a solution and pretending to be cool with it but I could see a faint frown on his face.
"Are you sure?" Rachel asked insincerely.
"Yeah." Sam said unconvincingly
"No, come on, Blaine and I will go with Artie, we've got thicker coats on than Sam and I want a chance to talk to Artie about his school. Sam, get in the car." I said, smiling sweetly at the two boys.
"Are you sure, Blaine, K?" Sam asked worriedly.
"Yeah, yeah, go." Blaine said, ushering Sam toward the car. I went around Artie's wheelchair and gripped the handlebars, bidding goodbye to Kurt, Rachel and Sam as Blaine, Artie and I. The three got into the car and drove off.
