" stop that: what the fuck is this?" Severus picked up the bouquet of flowers and shoved it in james' face.
" its a piece of my love darling."
" bullshit why did you give me flowers?"
James sighed and stood up to face him.
" if you must know. My mother sent them to give to you."
Severus face twisted in confusion.
" your mother?"
" yes."
" how does she know about our situation."
" since this is a major event that has happened on school grounds, she was given a call. About our......situation." James said proudly. Severus stared at him a bit confused and pinched the bridge of his nose.
" fine. They will make lovely center pieces for the slytherin common room." Snape turned around and walked away.
" wait you aren't keeping them?!" Yelled after him
" NOPE! Tell your mother the entire slytherin house said thank you!"
" well- then stay a little!"
" cant! Hanging out with teddy!"

" wanna walk down to breakfast with me?"
" cant. Im walking down with teddy today."

" oh the one that came out last month? Sorry ive already watched it with teddy."
" then how about stargazing?"
" i have plans with teddy."
" at 12 am?"
" yeah. Im helping him out on a project."
Severus shut his book and promptly walked away.
James stayed very still for a few seconds then broke out into a flat out silent tantrum. He punched the air and kicked the couch severus was sitting on.
" stupid teddy, stupid hufflepuff prefect, im the head boy, im so much better. Whats a badger gonna do? Get yourself a lion. Stupid fucking handsome dude trying to steal my love." James muttered under his breath and walked out.

" james honey? Is there a reason why you are angrily eating that chocolate frog and staring at teddy?" Lily asked a bit concerned as james continued to stare daggers into the hufflepuff.
" and also do you have a spare frog?" Lupin jumped in. Lily hit his side with her elbow and gave him a look that said ' seriously?'.
James reached into his bag and threw another chocolate frog into the air, remus catching it easily.
" nope. Just...... people watching." James never took his eyes off teddy.
