" hey sev."

Severus flinched at the voice. It was narcissa coming out of her dorms and into the slytherin common room. When she saw the state that severus was in she looked at him confused.

"what happened to you?" she asked.

Severus looked at her and pursed his lips. Just then andromeda broke in through the portrait hole, her hair a mess and her tie was wrapped loosely around her neck.

" oh hey guys." she chuckled nervously.

" ummmm didn't know there was still people up in the common room."

She stumbled onto the couch next to severus and plopped down.

"um ok either you two are high or some shit went down so tell me." narcissa sat down on the ottoman opposite of them and waited for her answer. Andromeda and severus shared glances, andromeda giggling a bit.

" ok well, i dont know about andy here but my night was quite eventful." Severus sighed.

" well mine too, but im thinking in a completely different way." andy said. Severus looked at her confused but decided not to press her on that because it was already narcissa who was interrogating them. Severus went to put his hair up when he realized he had dropped his hair tie somewhere. Narcissa noticed and handed him the dark green scrunchie that was in her pocket. Severus gratefully took it and put his hair in a ponytail. he rolled up his sleeves and unbuttoned a couple of his top buttons, exhausted from the day he had.

" ok because i am nice, i will ask sev first. Sev what happened." narcissa directed it to andy but directed the question to severus. 

Severus gulped and looked at her. 

" ok so... i may or may not have kissed james after he kinda cried into my chest for half an hour." Severus said quickly. andromeda immediately sat up and looked at him incredulously, narcissa sharing the same look.

" no fucking way." narcissa breathed out. Severus nodded slowly and andromeda and narcissa screeched with happiness.

" oh my god! sev's love story is finally paying off!!!!" andromeda turned to her sister, shouting happily.

" what the hell are you lot yapping about?" they turned to the staircase which held a very tired and disgruntled bellatrix.

" sev kissed james."

" what the potter kid?"

" yes bella, the potter kid. The potter kid who is utterly in love with sev!" Narcissa squealed. Bella smirked and went up to severus, sitting on the other side of him.

" is this true?" she asked. Sev nodded again, sending the three into little giggles. 

" oh god this feeling. its horrible i just dont like it." severus whined. Andy and bella looked at each other while narcissa just sighed in agreement. 

" i know. its horrible. it feels like there are constant butterflies in your stomach, and when you are around that person it feels like your heart might explode from happiness." narcissa said gently. Severus snapped his head to her and nodded vigorously.

" yes! that! exactly, whats it called?" 

" love?"  narcissa said. Severus' face twisted and he scoffed.

"pffffft no. im not in love. im not in ........." he trailed off. Andromeda snapped her fingers in front of him a few times but it didn't work.

" sev?" bella asked.

" SEV!" narcissa shouted, finally getting severus' attention.

" im not in love!........am i?" 

the four leaned back and contemplated it for a while. Narcissa shrugged and looked at the other two.

"What are you looking at us for?" bella asked.

" well you two are the wiser of us four. And plus bella you are married, give us some love advice!"

" just because im married doesn't mean im in love dumbass. plus i can hardly say that andy is wiser than sev"

" hey!" andy punched her shoulder. bella rolled her eye and scoffed. 

" from what i can tell you two are the only one in love." andy exhaled.

" i am not in love."

" sev yes you are."

" cissy no im not."

" yes you are"

" no."

" yes."

"no "

"yes."

" no!"

" YES!" 

the two bickered back and forth until severus finally gave up. he stared at narcissa and bit his lip. He was defeated, by love and by this 5'4 blonde sitting in front of him.

" fine. im in love. i love james potter for salazars sake." Sev whined and looked up.

the room was silent for a bit, nobody really having anything else to add until andy piped up.

" i snogged teddy." she said out of the blue. Everyone snapped their heads at her while she just twirled her hair.

" you cant be serious." Bella asked. Andy shook her head slowly and didnt make eye contact with anyone. Severus let out a throaty chuckle and grabbed one of the throw pillows on the  couch and hurled it at her. It hit her in the face and she looked at severus with a surprised face as he just kept laughing.

" wow you really are a slythrin arent you?" severus told her. she shrugged with a smug smile on her face.

" thats why im here isnt it?" 

bella stared at her little sister with an extremely shocked smile.

" jesus. why didn't you shag him while you were at it?" bella said. andy then became very quiet and a slow smile spread on her face. Bellatrix and narcissa had a face that said "you didn't". 

" oh god EWWWWW! i didn't need to know that ugh!" Narcissa grimaced at the thought.

Severus kept laughing and covered his mouth as bella proceeded to completely attack andy with pillows.

"OW OW OW bella!"

" ugh do you know how it feels to know that your little sister shagged someone in the astronomy tower! i feel like i need to bathe you in hand sanitizer!" Bella kept hitting her. Andy broke out in laughter as narcissa just looked like she was told the most weirdest news in the world. 

" WELL you dont know! for all you lot knows he could be my future husband!"

"unlikely because i will have already killed him for doing such things to you!" bella yelled and andromeda laughed as she ran around the room, running away from her big sister.

Severus laughed as well and tried to pry bellatrix off andromeda, much to his failure.

They spent that night in the common room, talking, gossiping, trying to get bellatrix to not kill her sister. 

But there was still one thing on Severus' mind. 

James Bloody potter and severus' stupid love for him.
