" AND BLACK RETURNS THE QUAFFLE TO THE HUFFLEPUFF CHASER."

The stands cheered loudly as gryffindor scored once again. Severus watched gleefully while james zoomed past the hufflepuff seeker trying to catch the snitch.

It was the second game. It was 6 pm and severus was watching the entire game carefully.

" MCKINNON SCORES AGAIN! 10 POINTS TO GRYFFINDOR! THIS TIES GRYFFINDOR AND HUFFLEPUFF AT 75 POINTS EACH!"

Severus leaned to the edge of his seat, trying to spot james.

Suddenly a huge gust of wind blew severus away. A pair of red and yellow chased up into the sky, a golden orb just in their reach.

They flew higher and higher until eventually they came too close to one another.

They collided together with a sickening bang.

Severus winced and looked down as the pair started to stumble on their brooms, the red player barely holding onto his.

"HAS HE DONE IT? HAVE THEY CAUGHT THE SNITCH?"

James sighed and huffed, doubling over from the collision.

Then he looked up and made eye contact with severus, grinning wide, wiping at his mouth with his forearm.

He triumphantly lifted up his fist, opening his hand to reveal a small gold orb flapping its wings.

Severus smiled in relief and sat back down.

" AND JAMES POTTER DOES IT AGAIN! 150 POINTS TO GRYFFINDOR! GRYFFINDOR WINS!"

The crowd went wild as the entire stadium including the players cheered for james. Sirius and Marlene flew over to him and hugged him tight. Sirius threw him on his shoulders and paraded him around the stadium, stopping by severus especially.

" come on! Give your boyfriend a kiss! Dont be shy!" Sirius and marlene teased. James slapped the back of sirius head causing him to wince.

" shut up! Hes not my boyfriend and i dont want to make him uncomfortable. This is kinda putting him on the spot you idiot-"

" oh shut up Potter."

Severus whispered and grabbed his collar. He connected their lips, making james have to hold onto the railing so he doesnt fall off sirius' shoulders.

The crowd gasped in shock but soon recovered, cheering. Sirius and marlene looked at each other and snickered while frank just face palmed behind them.

Severus pulled away and looked into james's eyes. When they fluttered open his hazel eyes were full of surprise and joy. A slow grin broke out on his face and he leaned back, almost falling off sirius and having to grab onto his collar so he doesnt plummet to the ground.

" hey! You did it! Knew you had the guts. Now, time to celebrate!" Sirius said as he flew james away from severus.

James smiled, still euphoric from the almost fairytale like kiss and looked back at severus.

Holy shit i did it. I went for it. I fucking went for it.

Severus breathing shuttered and he fell back a bit.

Yeah he cant recover from that.

" and to my best friend and our seeker! JAMES!" Sirius held up the bottle of beer he was holding.

As usual after a successful match, the gryffindor common room was filled with fellow lions drinking and dancing.

The rowdiness and the music overpowered all senses as they all went crazy from the high of winning.

In the middle of their partying there was a knock at the doorway and there stood a tall slytherin.

He will not lie, Severus was a little intimidated. He was a snake that just entered the lions den and honestly he just wanted to retreat back at this point.

Thankfully he was spotted by sirius, remus and lily who were also sipping on bottles of their own.

" sev! What are you doing here?" Lily went up to him. Her cheeks were flushed from a mix between the alcohol and the already hot common room being filled with equally drunk and happy gryffindors.

" hey sev. What brings you here?" Remus said cheerfully. He stumbled a bit as he walked towards him and ended up tripping into severus.

Severus didnt fall back however so he helped remus up and looked at him strange.

" sorry. Tipsy. I usually dont get effected but this beer is REALLY hitting hard." Remus smiled wide.

A bit concerned Severus took the beer from his hand and sniffed it.

" wolfsbane? BLACK!" Severus yelled. Sirius stuck his head out from a crowd and came running to them like a dog.

" yep."

" did you put wolfsbane in this?"

" yea- no."

" dont lie. Where did you even get it?"

" ..........your stash."

" god- ok. Lily. Sober remus up." Severus pushed the tipsy remus into lily's arms and sighed.

He only needed ONE person but now he was currently getting a Cup of water to get remus off the high.

" oh yeah sev, what did you need anyway?" Lily asked as she tried to keep remus off of sirius.

" oh yeah. I wanted to know if i could borrow james? For a couple hours." Severus asked. Lily grinned wide, a little too wide.

" of course! JAMES!" Lily yelled.

James came running to them, spotting severus immediately.

He ran up to him and hugged him tight.

" that was quite a stunt you pulled there." James whispered. Severus chuckled and shook his head.

" shut up." He whispered under his breath.

" severus here wants to borrow you for a couple hours." Lily said, winking to james.

" oh yeah of course! Lets go!" James said and grabbed severus' arm.

" oi! Everyone! Ill be back in a few hours!" James yelled to the common room.

" wha-? Our MVP is being whisked away by a slytherin?!" A few yelled.

" have fun with your boyfriend!" Marlene yelled and then continued to do whatever she was doing.

James waved her off and led severus out of the common room.

" so. Where are we going?" James asked.

" hogsmeade."
