Taehyung was stressed out. He couldn't think clearly. He needed something to calm him down. He needed some sort of emotional support cushion. He knew exactly what he needed... Jungkook. But he couldn't do that. He didn't want to do that.

Right now hes on call with Jennie. H decided to tell her what he did to her father... not thinking clearly of course at that time. Jennie was understanding... but it amazed him. Was her father so dead to her, she didn't mind his death explained to her in explicit detail? What a horrible man.

It came time to tell her his decision. He met up with her at her apartment.

"What's so important that you had to come over to talk about?"

"I-I need to tell you something..."

...

"What?"

A skeptical Jennie asked.

"I-I need Jungkook to move out..."

"What?!"

She yelled.

"Why?! You guys haven't fought for an entire year, what the fuck Taehyung!"

She was clearly pissed at Taehyungs decision. Calming down, she sigh, pressing her fingers against her temples.

"Why?"

She asks, softer.

"I-I have to. Just know that. Please let him live with you. I need to make sure hes okay..."

"Why cant you tell me why Taehyung?"

"Because I don't know why myself. But I know I need him gone. It's bad for the both of us."

He turns leaving a confused Jennie.

"Taehyung-ah! Come Back!"

But he was already gone.

It was now the time Taehyung didn't want to do. But he had to. To keep Jungkook safe. This might make no sense, but Taehyung isn't doing this just for himself... Its happening for Jungkook to. You see, Taehyung knew he felt something for the younger. But he denied it. So many self conversations, and even turning down Jennie's teasing on a more serious note. But that bastard, Jungkook's father, told his dad about Jungkook. He told his dad that he was gay. But with no confirmation from him. 

Taehyung is doing this so Jungkook is okay. His father is homophobic. Just as homophobic as Jungkook's father.. but if his only son is gay? He wouldn't hesitate to kill the man he loves. His father would beat him, his father would take him to forcibly sign a contract of marriage to one of the many lines of women in other corporations.

Taehyung also knows he cant be gay. He just doesnt want to accept this part of himself. As much as he doesnt show it, he tries to fit societies expectations. Seeing Jungkook go through all the trouble in moving out... getting beaten.. The pain he went through in the very beginning... hasn't stopped throughout the year.

He needs to make sure that he gets well from this... phase. That's what it is. A phase. A phase caused by Jungkook... who's a friend, no, his bestfriend. That he's losing. As much as he wants to blame his father... he knows it's his fault. He can do something less rational but if he wants to get out of his phase, he cant see Jungkook.

He walks into his house, seeing a incredibly concerned looking Jungkook sitting on the chair, unintentionally nibbling his nails. Looking up, he seems so relieved seeing Taehyung. It was 2am anyways.

"Hyung, where were you?"

He softly asks, still concerned.

"I-I... nowhere. Can we talk Kook?"
