Jungkook just stayed there, the rain pouring over him. Water streamed down his face, his face that still had warm tears trailing down, but no one would notice. He didnt turn or anything just stayed still.

"Let's go back, your bandages are wet."

"Jungkook-"

"I said let's go."

He slides his hand out of Taehyungs, walking to the sidewalk. He walks, feeling Taehyung behind him in a distant presence. But he doesn't want distance... he wants closure. But he doesnt know what he expects, a hug, a heart felt apology... he wanted more than that. He didnt want to feel like this... that night... Taehyung didnt sound like he meant those words.

Even accidentally saying them stilled Jungkooks process of feelings. However Jungkooks feelings were stilled, they weren't frozen. Bit by bit, they crossed over the gates, the gates that lead to one emotion. One he didnt dare to feel. Especially not for Taehyung. Love.

Jungkook stopped dead in his tracks, realization spreading across him. Taehyung who had his head down accidentally bumped into his back.

"Kook? Why'd you stop?"

He asked the younger male, who was just staring straight forward.

"Jungkook?"

He asks with more worry. He slowly walks in front of the other, waving a hands in front of his eyes, bringing the boy back to his senses.

"I'm fine, let's go."

He tried to maneuver his way around Taehyung, but failed when the boy stopped him. The rainfall had now lightened, the sky still being a dark, dark gray. No stars in the sky... no stars in Jungkooks eyes.

"Jungkook please tell me what's wrong..."

Taehyung practically pleaded.

"Its nothing, we have to change your bandages fast or you'll get an infection."

He says, pushing past the older.

"Jungko-"

"Let's go Taehyung."

He says, not turning back. Taehyung stands there looking at the figure slowly shrinking. Why did it have to be this way?

After a walk in which the two were heavily distanced from eachother, they both walk in Jennies home. There, an anxious Jennie and Hoseok come at them.

"Where were you? What took you so long?"

Jennie exclaims, grabbing Jungkooks shoulders. Hobi slowly removes her arms, facing Jungkook.

"More importantly,"

He says placing a hand on the youngers shoulder.

"Are you okay?"

...

"I'm fine."

Jungkook says removing his boots. He walks past them, Jennie and Hobi looking at Taehyung confused. Taehyung however kept looking down. They all walked into the living room following Jungkook, all except Taehyung of course. He was sitting on the dining table across the room, slowing removing his damp bandaid. But he accidentally touches his broken thumb and tilts it back, making him let out a loud, painful hiss.

Jungkook immediately turned to him, speed walking over. He pulled a chair out and sat down with a thud. Leaning over his 'I dont give a shit' persona changed drastically. He grabbed Taehyungs hand, blowing on it as he carefully unwrapped the rest of the bandages.

"I told you to be careful."

Says, slowly massaging the base of his finger while re-rubbing the cuts and wounds with alcohol. Taehyung let out a groan, the pain was honestly unbearable.
