Jennie rushed over to Taehyubgs house, a panicked Lisa beside her.

How could he do this? Again? That asshole... he has no right....

She thought. She pulled up at Taehyungs driveway, seeing shattered glass in the grass. So well hidden, she only noticed because of the reflecting light. Someone could've gotten hurt...
It was a broken beer bottle. This was her father's doing.

She ran inside, Lisa right behind her. Running upstairs, she hears snoring. She walks into Jungkooks room, but he wasn't there. So she walked into Taehyungs room. Seeing tired Taehyung, staring at the sleeping boy.

"Jungkook!"

"Shhh!"

He hushed her.

She slowly walked towards the boy, letting her tears fall free. Kneeling down in front of him, she places her hand on his chest, crying more as the boy winces in pain. She let's out a choked sob. She rests her elbows on the edge of the bed, putting her head in her hands, staring at the boy.

"I-im so sorry..."

She cries.

"Oh Kookie..."

She cries and cries. She couldn't protect him. She wasnt there for him. Why call herself a big sister if she couldn't even help him when he needed her most. Because of that, Jungkook got beaten. Again.

Finally out of the room, the three, Taehyung, Jennie and Lisa sat in the livingroom, letting the boy sleep.

"Jennie, I made a promise to him..."

Taehyung quietly spoke.

"I promised him... he'd be dead before the next week...."

He looked at her dead in the eyes.

"And I never break my promises."

Jennie wasnt sure of what to do. How could she agree to kill her own father? But then she thinks... thinks of him. Her father first beat Jungkook, when he came out at the party.

Being drunk, he slapped the boy across the face, then slapped him again and again, until he couldn't speak. Jennie left him lying there. Because... of her father's orders.

She ignored him for six months. Six months in which Jungkook needed a friend, someone to talk to. But she couldn't because of her father. When she started her fake dating with Taehyung, she told Taehyung about Jungkook. And about how she couldn't speak to him. He convinced her to try.

She repaired the bond between them. She began to be bolder with her father, yelling at him when he hurt Jungkook in any way. She shortly moved out after Jungkook did.

But then her father came back. He contacted her more, forcing her to do his job. She did his job at B.R.D just so he wouldn't reveal Taehyungs secret.

It was blackmail. Her father didnt give a shit about her, or Jungkook. Maybe not even Yeonjun. But what he had done here tonight, laying hand on his own child, sobering up yet still continuing? Disgusting.

She cant deal with this. He could be permanently gone, she wouldn't have to deal with the hardships of coming out. She wouldn't have to be blackmailed. She wouldn't have to be scared for Jungkook. She could be free.

"How are you doing it?"

Taehyung looks at her shocked. But he knows why she agrees.

"I'm gonna wait. I'm gonna see him at work. I'll visit his office. I'll shoot him and have people set it up as a car accident. I dont want unnecessary time spent on this."

He sighs.

"You two can sleep over in Jungkooks room. I'm going to bed."

Jennie and Lisa go to Jungkooks room, spending the night.

Taehyung immediately goes to check on the younger.

"Jungkook... you okay?"

He softly asks.

"W-where is he..."

"Hes gone... I took care of it..."

"T-Taehyung it hurts... so much..."

He says, slowly sitting up to lean on the headboard, clutching his bruised abdomen.

"I'm sorry Kook... do you want me to get Jennie to come stay with you?"

"N-no... please, just stay next to me..."

...

"Anything for you."
