Happy New Years! I still can't believe we got a taekooks selca. Last year wasn't good, with the pandemic, the racial injustice, political problems, economical things, etc. But as bad as it was, it was also the most calming year. The year were we could be calm and collected, a year in which parents could take a break from their hectic work lives. It was a year to fix things, a year to stand up for what you believe in, a year in which you would care for yourselves. Honestly, 2020 sucked, but also didn't. But that was last year, let's welcome the new year with open arms and hope its better. Let's hope that all the boy's have an amazing year, all army has an amazing year and that anyone who really deserves it, has an amazing year. 2020 signing off, hello 2021.

The story will start I troducing characters that were here in the beginning such as Jin, Namjoon, Jimin and Yoongi. They won't be as major to the plot anymore, but in a sense, will complete the book.

The boy's slowly pulled away from the kiss, opening their eyes. Taehyung smiled as Jungkook looked down blushing,

"Let's get you outta here, hm?"

"Y-yeah." Jungkook managed to whisper.

Taehyung stood up, helping Jungkook up. Once Jungkook was up, he noticed Taehyung staring at his father, who lay lifeless in the floor, eyes still wide  open.

"A-are you okay?" Jungkook asked quietly.

"I'm fine... just a bit... shocked." Taehyung says.

Taehyung stood still, staring right into his father's eyes. He didn't know what to expect honestly. Maybe he was just waiting for his dad to magically live, and pounce at the boy. Or he was just waiting... waiting to see if his dad was still here, still controlling him, or if he was finally free.

"I think he's gone... and I'm... I'm finally free."

Jungkook stayed silent behind the boy, looking down at the floor. Taehyung was stuck in a trance staring at the figure before him, finally coming back into reality when the pool of blood surrounding his father reached his foot.

"Let's go."

He says, grabbing Jungkooks hand. The stepped out of the room, but Taehyung quickly walked back in the room, putting the gun he used to kill his father on his body.

"I hate you, you're a monster who finally got what he deserves."

Shooting one more glare at his father, he walked back to Jungkook, taking his hand in making the younger blush once more. They walk out of the suite, finding an elevator. The trip up was fairly long, so Taehyung made some calls. A call to the head of B.R.D body cleanup department, to get his father a body and throw it off a cliffmor something. He didn't care as long as the man wasn't ever seen again. A call to Hoseok, telling him that he got Jungkook. A call to Jennie, telling her that he'll drop Jungkook off. Just that and he hung up.

The elevator finally stops, the boy's step out. Taehyung grabs Jungkooks hand again, bringing him to the car. He quickly starts the car, seeing the body cleanup truck arriving, not wanting to see his father's body again.

They drove out of the parking lot pulling on to the highway. The atmosphere wasn't awkward, or comfortable. It was confusing. With everything that just happened, would there even be time to talk about... them? What they are, what they could be? It seems like the questions were answered when Taehyung pulled onto Jennies driveway. Jungkook unbuckled his seatbelt, and was about to open the door when he heard Taehyung,

"Jungkook,"

"Yes hyung?"

"With everything with my dad and dealing with his company, being the new boss of B.R.D.... we might not have enough time to talk about... us,"

He continued .

"Do you remember what I told you back there?"

Jungkook nods.

"Good. 'Cause I meant it. I love you Jungkook, we just need to wait a bit until this mess is cleared."

Jungkook nodded once more, giving Taehyung a assuring smile. He was about to get out when a wave of confidence overcame him.

"Hyung..."

He said looking directly into Taehyungs eyes.

"Yes?"

"I-I just wanted to say,"

He took a deep breath, Taehyung clenched his fists in anticipation on what he would say. He finally spoke.

" I can wait. As long as you need me too. Because... because I love you."

He leaned over the car seat, and pressed his lips on Taehyungs. Taehyung slowly cupped his face, returning the sweet kiss. Their lips left eachothers, but Taehyung quickly swooped in for a short peck. Jungkook slowly went back to his seats a bit flustered because of their kiss.

"Until next time."

He says, and exits the car.

Taehyung sighs, smiling at Jungkook as he entered Jennies house.

"Until next time... my love."
