Jisoo's P. O. V

When Taemin walks towards our table all noises died. Everyone stood and bowed for him. The Alpha King sits down and so do we. Soon plates are being passed and mountains of food are put on top of my plate. I look at Taehyung in annoyance. I can't eat all of this, the others have to eat too. I'm already leaning forward to tell him when the Alpha King's voice booms.

"Jisoo." I turned my gaze towards him slowly. I don't like the way my name rolls off his tongue. It sounded like a threat. I bow my head to the king. "We have games after the meal. A competition. I have signed you in." Hearing that my excitement bubbled up. I felt Taehyung's hand squeezing me tightly so I let my magic do the work until he let's go. I bow my head once more to the king.

"It would be an honor to show you what I've learned, my King." Taemin smiled at me and waved my comment away with his hand.

"It would be my pleasure, Princess Jisoo." Taehyung had gone absolutely stiff next to me, but I don't care. Even his father, the King can see how much this means to me. Why can't he? Aerin looked at me with pride. A huge grin has set on my face and it doesn't fade through out the entire meal. Meanwhile Taehyung has gone silent, his hand now relaxed once more on my leg but i can feel the tension radiating from him. Aerin's eye flickered between me and Taehyung in concern, again I ignored it. I even made talk with the King about an issue with the rouge's.

"Put the rouge's together in a pack in the middle of nowhere. Make it a prison, and make sure they can't leave. Also make them feel like it's also their home. They're rouge's, all they want is power. Put them together and they'll destroy each other." The King looked at me with a poker face. He stared at me for so long that I began to shift uncomfortably on my chair. After what seems like forever he finally nodded.

"Thank you for your opinion, Princess." He rises and the table quiet down again. "Have we all eaten enough?" The pack members shouted and cheered until the king puts his hands up. "Today is in the honor of my son's Mate, Princess Jisoo." He made a hand gesture for me to get up. I got up from my chair and bowed to all the people presented. "Princess Jisoo will take place in this year's competition. Don't be fooled, she is a worthy fighter. I wish you all the best of luck! The game will begin in 15mins." Taehyung got up and excused himself. He walked away angrily. Aerin grabbed my hand, "I hope you're sure about your power. You might pursue him if you win." After those words she too got up and shot me a smile before leaving the room with her Mate. I looked around the room and saw several people getting up. I decided to quickly run to my new home and change into a more suitable outfit for the competition.

Of course there is one person who always comes to mock you.

Jungkook walked towards me when I'm on my way out. Taehyung is nowhere to be seen. Jungkook throws me a grin.

"Ready to get your ass kicked, Princess?" I rolled my eyes at him and walked past without responding. "You do know the king has only signed you up to get your ass kicked right?" Well now he successfully got my attention. "If you lose he can force you into the pretty perfect Princess role like he did to the Queen. She was very much like you once." His voice came out as whisper. Scared for someone to hear such things about their Queen. I thought about Aerin and the concern she had written on her face when she found out I was a warrior also there was some pride there too.

"So I guess I'll have to win." It's my only answer. I'm not going to let anyone drag me down. This is what I want, what I've always wanted. I never needed a Mate anyway, sure as hell not one like Tae whom never accept me as me.
