Perrie's POV

I was walking through store isles picking up all of Leigh's favorite things. Sweets, drinks, her favorite tea, and some cough syrup. The poor girl had come down with a cold and since Jade and Jesy are busy, I'm going to be taking care of her. She's my little baby and I'm more than excited to be taking care of her today. "Are you coming soon?", she asks over the phone. "I'm on my way baba, I promise. But I'm still picking up your snacks. And I'm going to bring some of your favorite movies.", I say with a smile as I dig through the movie bin. "Hurry back. I miss you.", she says with a cough. "I will, I'm almost done. But get off the phone, I can hear how sore your throat is from here.", I say. I hear the line go dead and tuck my phone in my pocket.

I grab a packet of strawberry flavored cough drops because I know she hates the regular ones. I grab her favorite ice cream and some strawberries before getting in line. "You having a movie night?", the cashier asks. "My best friend is sick and I'm taking care of her. She's a big baby when she's sick so I've got to watch her.", I joke. "Hope she feels better then.", he smiles. I hand him the money owed and walk out to my car. Sitting everything next to me, I drive off to her house and get ready for the day we're gonna have. When I get there, I walk in the door and lock it before venturing upstairs where I hear coughing. "Awe baba. I'm here now.", I say walking to her side. "Pez. I want cuddles.", she whines reaching for me. "Not right now. I have to get you all taken care of.", I say rubbing her cheek with my thumb.

I grab a spoon and hand her the ice cream hoping that it could bring down her fever somewhat. "I've got some movies for us to watch and I was gonna let you pick.", I say spreading them out on the bed. She points to Rush Hour and I smile. "Alright, I'm gonna go make your lunch and you're gonna take a nap after.", I say tapping her nose. She pecks my finger before snuggling herself back into her blanket. "Where's Harvey?", I ask. I hear rustling before Harvey pops up from under the bed and I pick him up. "Hello there little grumpy. Let's go make your momma a sandwich.", I say walking down into the kitchen. I make her a simple ham sandwich and bring it back up to her.

I cut the sandwich into some triangular bite sizes before walking back up the stairs. "Where's Kyro? He's being unusually quiet.", I question as I feed her a piece. "He's in the dog pin. I set it up for when you girls come over.", she answer weakly. I continue feeding her the small pieces before she's finished. "What do you wanna do now?", I ask sitting down by her side. "I wanna cuddle you.", she answers opening her arms. I chuckle and slide behind her before wrapping my arms around her. "I love it when you hold me.", she murmurs rubbing my wrist. "And I love holding you bubba.", I say pecking her check. I rub my thumbs over her knuckles and hear her sigh. "Take the medicine so you can fall asleep.", I say handing her the little cup.

She brings a hand up from under the blanket and looks at the blue medicine. "Pretend like you're taking a shot. Hold your breath and bottoms up.", I joke. She takes my advice before grimacing at the taste. "I'll be here when you wake up.", I say pulling the blanket up more. She hums and I see her eyes flutter closed as I watch the movie playing on the tv. My phone rings and I quickly pick it up to not disturb the tired girl next to me. "How she doing?", Jade asks. "I just gave her a bit of medicine so hopefully she'll be asleep soon. How'd your recordings go?", I answer. "Jes and I finished up today so if Leigh's still sick tomorrow we can come and see her.", she answers.

"Tell Jesy I say hi.", I say. "She says hello. But I have to go now, Jesy is bugging me about getting dinner.", she says. "Ok, I'll talk to you later.", I say hanging up.

3 hours later

I feel shifting before Leigh sits up and rubs at her eyes. "How long have I been asleep?", she questions. "About three hours now.", I answer. "I still feel like trash but it's bearable now.", she says stretching. "You'll feel better soon.", I say rubbing her back. "Thanks for staying and taking care of me Pez.", she says looking back to me. "You're my little baby, I'll always be there for you.", I say hugging her.
