Jesy's POV

Since we were going to be in the studio all day, the team had gotten lunch ordered in. "I just got some salads since you all still have some stuff to record today.", one of the producers says setting the bag in the table. As I unpack all the food I see Perrie stare at the boxed salads before stifling a chuckle. "What's the matter Pez?", Jade questions also holding back a laugh. "I know I said I wasn't going to ask this question again but how the hell did the salad get in a sealed box?", Perrie answers examining the box. Leigh is the first to lose control as her laughter fills the room followed by myself and Jade.

Perrie looks around at us sadly before grabbing her food and leaving the room. "Now I feel bad. Why don't you go talk to her Jes? You're the best with advice.", Jade says rubbing my shoulders as she walks past. I walk into the back room where I hear small sniffles before finding Perrie curled up on one of the couches rubbing at her eyes. "What's the matter Pez?", I question rubbing her back. "You guys are laughing at me, and it makes me feel stupid.", she says. "We don't meant to. It's just harmless teasing, like when we make fun of Leigh for being a diva, or make fun of Jade for being a nerd. Or when you guys bully me about the Jamaican accent that I only let you guys speak about.", I say rolling my eyes at the last part.

"Really? You aren't judging me?", she questions sitting up. "Of course not babe. The only time I judge you girls is when you make dumb decisions and even then I make sure you know I don't mean it.", I say helping her sit up. "But after all these years, I still don't understand. I feel like an idiot.", she cries burying her face into my neck. "Excuse me ma'am but that's my best friend you're talking about and I can't let you say that about her.", I say rubbing her side. "Well can you explain it to me? I don't get it.", she questions. "That's all you had to ask love.", I chuckle. "Basically Pez, they first make the salad and put it in the box, and different companies have different ways of sealing them. But that's the thing, the salad is put in before the box is sealed.", I explain.

"It's that simple?", she questions. "That's the only way I know of.", I answer. "Now I feel really dumb.", she mumbles hiding in my shirt. "It's alright, we all don't understand something.", I say rubbing her arm. "What don't you understand?", she questions softly. "I don't understand why there are left and right handed labels. Like god damn, it's how I learned to write so get over yourself and stop labeling my dominant hand.", I say. I hear her giggles and know that my speech has paid off. "What don't Jade and Leigh understand?", she continues looking up at me with curiosity swimming in her blue eyes.

"You'd have to ask them.", I smile. And that she does. When we walk back out to the other girls, she sits down with them and asks her question."I don't understand what the safety tab is for on jars. Never really have.", Leigh says taking a sip of her drink. "And I don't understand lightning. It's probably because I didn't pay attention in a lot of classes but the idea of it still amazes me.", Jade says looking up at the sky. "Why don't you want your dominant hand to be labeled Jes?", Perrie questions. "Because then people start to identify me as a lefty and I hate it.", I answer. They all look at each other before pointing at me and chanting lefty. I shake my head at their childishness before continuing on with my day.
