"It's so weird, not physically getting tired anymore. Not complaining; I've always loved the night time. And to be able to be awake during it.. It's lovely." Virgil says, about a month later.
Roman smiles. "It is, isn't it? It's my favorite time." he says. Virgil giggles a little, holding his stomach with a wince. Roman looks at him, smile dropping. "What's the matter?"

"Nothing, I just.. Feel like I'm going to be sick for some reason.." Virgil says. "You.. Shouldn't? Are you unwell?" Roman asks. "No, I don't feel like, tired or feverish, I just feel like I'm gonna throw up.." Virgil mumbles. His point was proven when he had to go to the bathroom moments later.
Roman followed after him, looking at him for a moment in thought. Virgil groans, wiping his mouth and flushing the toilet, standing up after. "God damn it.." he mumbles, looking at Roman then tilting his head. "What?"

"You're throwing up. Vampires don't throw up that easily. So either you drank your own blood, which I doubt, or.. You're pregnant." Roman says.
Virgil blushes, then smiles and laughs nervously. "Well that's probably not the case, I'm hungry I'm gonna go feed on someome-" he says, Roman grabbing his wrist before he could leave.

"My love, can you please be serious with me for two minutes?" he says, looking at him. Virgil sighs, turning around to face him. "If you are, what would you do? How would you react? Are you ready?" Roman asks.
".. Are you?" Virgil responds. "Well.. I can't say I've taken care of many children, but that's my child in there. I'm going to do my best to raise them." Roman tells him, holding him by the waist.

"Now, answer my question; are you ready?" Roman asks. Virgil looks at him for a moment before nodding a little. "Y-yeah.. Yeah. I just.. I'm.. Having trouble believing I actually am.."
"You should be proud of it, my love; it makes you special. Plus, you were the first to bring up wanting a child." Roman says. "I-i didn't think I could carry one!.. But I'm glad I can.." Virgil says, blushing a bit and smiling.

Roman smiles back, picking him up. "I am too, my love." Virgil blushes, leaning into him. "Do you really think..?" he asks. Roman looks at him. "Vampires don't just throw up, not even when they're sick. Unless they try to eat, of course. Otherwise, we don't."
Virgil hums in thought, kissing Roman's neck gently. Roman blushes slightly and smiles. "What was that for, my love?" Virgil shrugs. "I wanted to.. .... I feel weird.."

"Weird?" Roman asks. "Is it normal to want to just- drain someone completely? To want to watch and listen to them die at your hands?" Virgil asks.
Roman looked surprised. "N-no-nooooo?" he says hesitantly, looking out a window and up at the moon. "Oh.." he says, looking back at Virgil.

"I have to go, I'll be back." Virgil says, pushing himself out of Roman's hold a bit harsher than he meant to, leaving the castle. Roman grunts, having been pushed into a wall. "Oh, dammit... Virgil!"

Maybe he should start paying attention to the lunar cycles.

Roman followed Virgil's scent, having to use his speed because Virgil did the same. After a few minutes, he tracked Virgil down; he was holding his uncle by the wrist, staring at his now dead body.

Virgil looked up at Roman, a little bit of blood dripping down the side of his mouth. Roman stared at him for a second and sighed, drawing his sword and slitting the body's throat, hiding it somewhere in the house.

"Virgil, I get that the lunar eclipse is affecting you, but you can't just drain a human like that; that would cause suspicion." Roman says, holding Virgil's wrists carefully.
"Why did you bring your sword?" Virgil asks. "Because I knew what you were going to do the second I saw the moon start to cover with shadow. By slitting his neck, at least it looks like a human murdered him, not a vampire." Roman says.

"He deserved it." Virgil mumbles. "I'm not mad you killed someone, I could honestly care less. I just can't let a body be found with no blood in it." Roman says.
"Look, I didn't want that to happen to any of the people at the castle, that's why I left." Virgil says. "I understand that, my love, but you have to be more careful when you do this. Make it look like they bled to death if you're going to drain someone." Roman says softly.

"Sorry.." Virgil mumbles. "It's alright, I'm just letting you know for future reference, okay? Let's head back." Roman says, picking him up and taking him back to the castle.

"Why we're you two out so late?" Romulus asks once they get back. "Uhh.. Heh.." Virgil says, looking away nervously. "Virgil got affected and um.. Drained a human." Roman says.
"In public?" Romulus asks. "No, in a home.. Don't worry, father, I took care of it. He didn't mean to, he was just really hungry because he threw up earlier-" Roman rambled.

"Threw up? You say that so lightly, why did he throw up?" Romulus asks, looking mildly concerned. "Uuuuhummm.." Roman says, blushing slightly. Virgil blushes as well, hiding in Roman's chest.
It didn't take long for Romulus to figure it out, giving Roman a ‘are you serious?’ father look. "Roman Alexander..."

"L-look, I- kinda forgot in the moment, okay? I-" Roman says blushing more. Romulus puts a hand over his eyes and sighs. "How long?"
"Like a month?" Roman says, looking at his father. Romulus looks at him. That's it, just the look every parent gives when their child makes a mistake.

Roman shrugs defensively. "I'm sorry! But Virgil wants a kid anyway, so-" Romulus sighs. "You're so careless.." he mumbles, walking away.

".... Well... Shit."
