"So, I have a question." Virgil asks Roman, a few days later. "What is it, my love?" Roman responds, putting his arms around Virgil's waist.
Virgil blushes and leans into him. "Um... Really random, I know, but.. What are the most common eye colors for vampires? Like, for humans, usually it's brown and blue, though green, hazel and grey can happen. Rare, though." Virgil says.

"Eye colors? Well, red is quite common; I believe it's what you humans call a ‘dominant’ eye color. Yellow is frequent, as well. More rare colors would be green, like my brother's, silver, or violet." Roman says.
"Vi- you- violet?" Virgil asks. "Mhm. I've only met one vampire with violet colored eyes, but it does happen." Roman tells him. "That's... Cool. Also, the other day, you mentioned there's actually other.. Um.. Supernatural beings I thought didn't exist... Do all of them exist?" Virgil asks, trying to phrase it nicely.

"Like I said, vampires, obviously, werewolves, sirens- there are others. Closely related to us vampires are Incubi and Succubi. Much like vampires, they feed on humans, but in a different, more sexual way. They feed on a human's soul rather than their blood." Roman says.
"How does feeding on their soul make it more sexual than literally biting someone's neck-?" Virgil asks.

Roman chuckles. "While to some that action may be seen as mildly sexual, Incubi and Succubi go out of their way to seduce their prey, and often bring them to a climax, as that action causes the soul to be more... Appealing to them. Much like how a faster beating heart makes blood more appealing to us." he says, blushing slightly.
Virgil blushes as well. "Well- god you're very blunt, you know that?" he says. "But if they feed on human souls, doesn't that mean the person always dies?"

"Not necessarily. They can control how much they take from a human, just like we can. Regardless though, their victims will always feel drained when they wake up, as the soul takes longer to recover than blood." Roman explains.

"Jesus, imagine getting fucked to death-" Virgil mutters. Roman laughs a little. "Oh, I'm the blunt one, am I? Anyway, then there's mer-people, commonly confused with sirens, even though they look nothing alike.

Mer-people have tails, and solely live underwater. They cause ships to sink, whereas sirens are more human-like, and can breathe both on land and in water. Sirens sing to seduce people in order to eat them or drown them." Roman says.

"Oh-" Virgil says, at a loss for any other words. "Well ummm.. On a completely unrelated topic, has a turned vampire ever like, tried to bite a born one? I know you guys don't bleed but-"

"Yes. Though, they don't bite down; usually it's more of a pacifying thing, and they just suck on the neck. It calms them down. My... My mother did that to my father a few times before she died." Roman says.
"Oh.. Wh-what do they need calmed down from?" Virgil asks. "Hunger, in most cases." Roman responds.

"... Um... S-sorry to ask, but... Y-your mom still.. Had blood, r-right? B-being a turned vampire and all..." Virgil says. Roman sighs softly. "I know where you're going with this, my love, but unfortunately, turned vampires can't drink their own blood. It.. It makes them so sick, they throw up."

"Oh.." Virgil says. ".... Why did you ask?" Roman asks, frowning in what could be nervousness. "N-.. C-curiousity?" Virgil says, looking up at Roman.
"I don't like the uncertainty in your tone.." Roman says. "I-i promise, it was just a genuine question.. Don't be mad.." Virgil says, looking at him like a guilty child.

Roman sighs. "I'm not mad, I'm w- umh?" he says. The reason his sentence was cut off is because Virgil brought his thumb up to one of Roman's fangs and pricked himself, quite intentionally.
Roman sucked on Virgil's thumb for a moment before taking it out of his mouth. "Why did you do that?" he asks.

Virgil smiles a little. "I wanted to see how you'd react." he says, giggling slightly while he speaks. "If you put a bleeding finger in any vampire's mouth, they would suck on it, my love." Roman responds.
"It wasn't bleeding when I put it in your mouth." Virgil says with a small, playful smirk. Roman looks at him, scoffing but smiling a little. "You intentionally cut yourself on my fang, though, it's the same concept."

"Well, yeah- but I also kinda wanted to see what it looks like when you feed on me so-" Virgil says. Roman gave a short confused laugh. "What a strange thing to be curious about. But if you really want to know, biting your wrist would more effectively show you."
"So bite me there." Virgil says, looking at him. "I-" Roman stuttered for a moment, giving Virgil a confused look. "Why? You- you're interesting, Virgil." he says, picking one of Virgil's hands up by the wrist.

Virgil looks up at him. "Never have I once met a human who was curious about this." Roman says, pulling Virgil's sleeve up a little. "I'm a special snowflake." Virgil says, smiling.
"I agree with the fact that you're special." Roman says before biting into Virgil's wrist. Virgil made a small noise and looked at him, blushing a bit.

Once Roman pulled off, he looked at Virgil, who was blushing. "I- oh-" he says. "W-well it feels a lot better on the neck- I-i mean-" he continued, blushing more at what he just said.
Roman looks at him, smirking a little. "No, no continue, my love. I want to know what you mean." he says. Virgil blushes brightly.

Roman chuckles softly. "You know, my love, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you have a biting kink." he says. Virgil blushes darker. "I-i-"
"Don't think I didn't notice how much you enjoyed when I bit you, twice, on the night of the blue moon. Both times, your heart sped up, and a blush spread across your pretty face." Roman says.

"I-i was not th-that undone-" Virgil stuttered. "Please, even before we got into the really fun stuff, you were practically drooling." Roman says, smirking.
"I- I can't help that you turn me on, especially acting like you were that night-!" Virgil huffs. "You were acting slightly different too, my love. Not as much, but definitely different." Roman says.

"H-how?" Virgil asks. "You were very affectionate that day. Quite honestly, I think the blue moon was affecting you, too." Roman says. "But- but I'm not a vampire."
"No, but you hold the mark of one. That might also be why you seemed to be overly submissive." Roman says bluntly.

"Okay, Mr. Top energy." Virgil jokes, blushing and rolling his eyes.
