<3 months later>

Virgil went up behind Lily while she was listening to music with her headphones, trying to hear what she was listening to.

"Nice, Hamilton." he says, smiling. Lily jumped, taking off her headphones. "Fuck sake Virgil, you gotta stop sneaking up on me- but yeah duh, it has some really good songs." she says.
"You know, at one point in time, that guy was older than me." Roman says. Virgil looks at him. "Who? Hamilton? That guy was born like, in the 1700's-" Roman grins a little. "So was I, my love. Granted, it was the late 1700's, but still."

". . ." Virgil thought about it for a moment, a bit shocked. "Wha- when?!" Lily asks. "I believe it was somewhere in the 1790's." Roman answers.
"Holy Jesus-" Lily says. "Wait so- your dad-?" Virgil asks. "1500's." Roman tells him. "I- He's older than America-" Lily said.

Roman chuckles. "That's why he has a bit of a weird accent- like old English-" Virgil says. "Yeah. Though, he does try to keep up with the nuances in how the English language.. Evolves, I suppose." Roman says.
"Virgil, Roman kinda has an English accent too, I-" Lily says. "Well yeah a bit, but it's not as strong-" Virgil responded.

Roman smiles, pulling Virgil close to him. Virgil blushes a little and smiles. "Hi." he says. "Hello, love." Roman responds, putting a hand on Virgil's stomach. Virgil blushes more, putting his hand over Roman's.

Lily decided to quietly take her leave.

"I'm nervous.." Virgil whispered. "Why, my love?" Roman asks. "Well.. I just.. About when the baby's born, like.. How, where, or like.. Who.."
"I see.. Well it would have to be here, because human doctors would be able to tell that the infant isn't human. However, I can also see the problem of you being self conscious.." Roman says, humming in thought.

"I could ask Logan to do it surgically, rather than have you give birth? That way, you'd at least be asleep, rather than in pain for hours on end." he suggests.
"How the fuck do you put a vampire to sleep if they're not sick?" Virgil asks. "The same way you would a human. We don't get tired on a daily basis like humans, but just like we can be sick or poisoned, we can be put to sleep via chemicals, just like them. More so, since our noses are sharper than human noses."

"Huh.. Okay.. Then yeah, I'd.. Probably wanna go with that." Virgil says. Roman nods, keeping Virgil close. "On that though.. Um.." Virgil says, blushing a little. "Mhm?"
"We need to think of names, my prince, f-for the baby.." Virgil says, looking up at him. Roman hums in thought, running his hands up and down Virgil's stomach gently.

"Well, I think it's a girl." Roman says. Virgil tilts his head. "How do you figure that?" he asks. Roman shrugs a little, smiling softly. "Just a guess, my love. If it is a girl, you get to name her. For a boy, I do. Deal?" he asks.
Virgil nods. "Deal." Roman smiles. "And we could always have more-~" Virgil blushes, playfully hitting him. "I don't know whether to call you a flirt or a horn dog-"

Roman chuckles, kissing Virgil's cheek. "They moved by the way.. They're moving now." Virgil mumbles. "The baby?" Roman asks. "Mhm.. I felt them move while I was talking to Lily earlier."

"They're active? Well I hope they won't cause you too much discomfort, my love." Roman murmurs, pushing one side of Virgil's hoodie off. Virgil tilted his head out of instinct.
"It's a weird feeling.. I mean, this child.. It's ours, Ro, it's.. Actually ours.. And it makes me feel so.. I dunno.." Virgil rambles as Roman fed on him.

"Like, weird, but not in the bad way.. More like.. A weird as in.. You don't really know how to explain exactly what you're feeling, you just... Feel it.. You know?" Virgil continued.
"Mhm." Roman hummed against Virgil's neck. After a moment, he pulled away, wiping his mouth. "I know exactly what you mean, my love, it's the same feeling I get when I realize that I'm actually going to be a father to a child, my child. I agree, it's strange feeling."

"Feelings in general are weird but usually I can catagorize them... With this though.. It's just.. It's its own feeling, really.." Virgil says, leaning against him. Roman held him by the waist gently, resting his chin on Virgil's head.

"I think I might actually cry when I see our child." Roman murmurs. Virgil smiles a little. "Once I wake up to see them, I will too.." he says with a soft sigh afterwards.
"They do make me really hungry though, seriously I could feed on someone and like, 2 hours later be hungry again, I-" Virgil said.

"Well that's- odd, but at least you could feed on different people?" Roman says, looking at him. Virgil nods a little. "It's just- god damn child, how much blood do you need, you know-?"
Roman chuckles softly. "Hungry baby." Virgil giggles quietly. "Yeah, hungry baby alright."

"You know, I bet they'll look like you." Roman says. Virgil looks at him. "Nu-uh, they'll totally look like you, my prince."

Roman chuckles and kisses Virgil's cheek. "I guess we'll have to wait and see."

I know this chapter is shorter and I apologize for that- but I have a few things to say:
1) I have both timeline and character description chapters written to be published when the book is done
2) If anyone wishes to do a sequel to this once it's finished, they may, with credit to me, and must tag me so I can read it
3) Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, or Happy/Merry/Good to whatever you may celebrate.

This book is not quite finished, but will be soon. As I said though, a sequel may be made, with credit. Have a lovely day! - Bella ♥
