Chapter 10
"Hey, Charlotte." He smiled, showing off his perfectly straightened teeth. I tried so hard not to moan at the sight of him. Why is he talking to me? Why were those girls talking to me? Why? Why? Why? I then remembered that there was a good-looking guy standing in front of me.
"H-Hi A-Alex." Damn you stuttering! I blushed as Alex's smile seemed to brighten. Some by-passers were staring at us curiously. Probably wondering why that unpopular girl is talking to Alex. Or they're probably wondering why that unpopular girl is marrying 'The Great Josh Castro' or a.k.a. Sex god according to Penelope.
"So, I was wondering when I'll get to see you again." A.k.a. Asshole.....a.k.a. Big ego....a.k.a- Wait What? It took me a while to realize what Alex said. See me again? That would be beautiful.....Is what I wanted to say. But since I made Josh promise to not cheat on me, I'll have to do the same.
"I-I....I can't, Alex. Im getting-"
"Married. Yeah I know. But, ever since that night at the party," He walked closer to me, "Ever since that kiss I just wanted to..." He trailed off, and I looked up into his chocolate eyes. He leaned down but was interrupted when someone shouted my name.
My face was flushed as Penelope came running towards me. I stepped back from Alex, so we didn't look suspicious. Penelope raised an eyebrow as she looked between us. I knew we were gonna have a serious conversation later.
"Damn Char, I've been looking for you everywhere." I raised an eyebrow, didn't she just go to class? She read my expression and then smiled she grabbed my hand,
"Char, go outside. Now." She said, and I gave her a confused look. As Alex just awkwardly stood there.
"What? Why?.....and besides, I can't. Im already late to class-"
"Charlotte, what have we been saying for the past I don't know how may years?" I shrugged, and she frowned, "Live a little. Go outside now, there's a limo waiting for you with a person inside." My mouth was practically sweeping the floor.
"How do you know-"
"Does it matter?! There's a limo waiting for you. Go." She said, pushing me towards the back doors of our school. I glared at her but continued to walk forward. Leaving behind a smirking Penelope, and a confused Alex.
Alex! Ugh, I completely forgot about him. I completely forgot what almost happened before Penelope (thankfully) interrupted. A kiss. We almost kissed....again. Woah, that cannot happen again. Never ever ever.
I pushed open the back doors, and like Penelope said there was a limo waiting. As I walked down the stairs towards it, the door slowly opened. Almost dramatically, as though the person was in the middle of a movie scene. I almost smiled at the sight of him. Almost.
Until I remembered that this guy was in fact, forcing me to marry him for money. *Cue in Sigh* Josh Castro, supposedly the hottest guy on this very planet. And according to Penelope A sex god. Whatever that means. His cold blue eyes seemed to soften when they reached me, before they turned back cold. Did I just imagine that?....man, Im hallucinating.
"Hey my sugar mama." I rolled my eyes, and frowned at him. He smirked at me and leaned on the limo. I stepped towards the limo and raised an eyebrow,
"What are you doing here Castro?" I asked, and he shrugged nervously scratching the back of his head. I continued to raise an eyebrow.
"You remember when we told our parents about each other right?" I remember my mom technically finding out by paper, before I got a chance to tell her. But other than that sure. I nodded, and he continued,
