"We finally meet. Bow in front of your emperor" Palpatine said. There was a machine attached to his body and his eyes were blank.
"I have no emperor! The Empire has fallen long ago. The First Order is now governing the whole galaxy!" You spit out with so much hate you were struggling not to jump on him and kill him.
He laughed "the First Order is just an evolution of the Empire. The Supreme Leader was only someone casually put on a throne just to fill a place that belongs to me!"
You felt anger flow in your blood. You looked at Kylo and then you just did what the dark side of the Force taught you to do when you wanted to gain power: you let anger possess you.
You felt your veins on fire, your lungs filled with air, you felt the Force spin around you almost as it wanted to make you fly.
You turned to Palpatine and lost control of yourself, you let the Force guide you.
Slowly you straightened up and ran towards him screaming, your red lightsaber ready to attack.
You got swinged away and crashed on the ground. You felt a cut in your leg and felt blood flowing out but didn't care.
Suddently pain was spreading in your body, you started to tremble as you saw Palpatine pointing his hands at you and hitting you with Force lightnings. You screamed, your lungs in your throat.
Then you heard a voice, a weak and harsh voice.
His voice.
"Don't You dare, Palpatine! You already destroyed my grandfather's life, I'll never allow you to destroy mine too! Stay away from her!"
You turned and saw Kylo struggling to get up. He was a too easy target for Palpatine.
Suddently a choir of Siths started to murmur and the deep terrifying voices echoed in the cave. You got chills.
You felt a metallic cling and saw Palpatine slowly walking towards you, but it was clear he didn't want to hit you, he wanted Kylo.
"Well, finally I am achieving my goal" he proudly said. The choir of Siths became louder and louder. Kylo hissed.
He finally managed to stand up, he was totally soaked in sweat and rain. He looked at the emperor and ignited his lightsaber."
"I'm finally getting rid of the last skywalker!" Palpatine screamed. The Force told you to jump in front of your husband and so you did.
Lightnings came out of the emperor's hands.
You convulsed in pain, screaming with all the breath you had in your lungs.
The last thing you heard was Kylo screaming your name.
