Nights turn to mornings
And suddenly the evening says 'Hi'
With a soft sigh and borrowed energy
I look at the changing skyI look towards hope
I crave for the light
The beeps still ring in my ears
Dampening my spirit slightThose helpless hands reaching out
Those strangled cries of pain
And those little prayers mumbled
To keep my thoughts saneEveryday is a new challenge
Everyday some rises, the other falls
Goodbyes with smiles or tears
Echo around the white wallsThey say life never stops
That in this circle we're just a guest
This life is full of little quests
And waiting for the eternal rest.~Shreya
