“I call the shower!” you yelled.
“Right in there,” Niall said handing you a towel.
“Oh and um could I borrow some clothes or something?” you asked looking down at your soaking wet clothes. He laughed again.
“Oh,” he went into his dresser pulling out a pair of his gray sweatpants, and a purple sweatshirts, “Will this work?” You nodded before walking into his bathroom. You two had gotten back just a few moments ago to an empty house. You didn’t know where the others were, but you were somewhat relieved that you didn’t have to see Liam. And you knew Ellie was safe, because she had Louis. You smiled to yourself. They would be such an adorable couple. When you stepped out of the shower, you changed into his over-sized clothes. You laughed at yourself in the mirror, you looked like a well-dressed hobo. You walked out.
“Someone looks good in my clothes,” Niall whistled. You blushed a light shade of pink for the second time today. You plopped down onto the couch next to him.
“Where are they?” you asked.
“I don’t know. No one’s answering their phones,” Niall shrugged setting down his phone roughly.
“Oh look,” you said getting up and noticing a piece of paper on the kitchen table. It was from Ellie. You could tell her handwriting anywhere. She dotted her I’s with little hearts, and she probably had the girliest handwriting on the planet.
We went out to lunch. See you in a bit. Sorry we left you xoxo
What a nice little note. “They went to lunch,” you called to Niall. He stood up and walked into the kitchen.
“Speaking of lunch…” he said opening all of his pantry doors. Nothing.
“Market?” you suggested. He nodded grabbing his keys. You looked down at your getup and shrugged. It would have to do. You got to the market in just a few minutes later.
“No paparazzi today?” you asked skeptically.
“They must not know we’re here,” he whispered gruffly grabbing your hand. He led you into the busied market, running from aisle to aisle.
“What are you getting?”
“Stuff,” he smirked just as a little girl came running your way.
“You’re Niall Horan!” she said in awe. You could tell she was completely starstruck.
“That’s me!” Niall smiled back joyfully.
“Could I pleaseeeee have a picture with you?” she stretched the please as her mom walked up right behind her holding her cellphone.
“Of course lovely,” Niall said tapping her nose playfully. She giggled, which made you smile. You stepped out of the frame.
“With your girlfriend too,” you heard the girl whisper to Niall.
“Oh-“ before you could testify Niall grabbed you by his sweatshirt, pulling you into the picture. After a quick ‘cheese’ Niall bid farewell to the young fan.
“Nice to meet you little lady,” she giggled again. You loved the way Niall handled children. He was so gentle, so playful, so loving.
“Girlfriend huh?”
“Sorry I would have said something but-“
“It’s fine,” you laughed, “Except for the fact that I looked like I just rolled out of bed!”
“You look great,” he whispered into your ear. You could feel his balmy breath trickle onto your ear, sending shivers up and down your body.
“Ready to go?” he asked heading for the cashier. You nodded in response. Niall paid for the three bags of groceries and you went outside to look for your car.
“Niall Niall!” you heard a young man call from behind a camera.
“Look over here!” the swarm of photographers began to take place, as Niall hooked his hand to yours. His head was low, and you did the same.
“Is that your girlfriend?”
“She’s pretty.” You smiled to yourself, and you looked over to see Niall smiling too. When you reached your car, Niall helped you in with the groceries before jogging around to the other side. He slumped down in the driver’s seat.
“I’ll never get used to that,” he huffed before roaring the engine and heading for home.
“Look who’s back!” Louis called as soon as you stepped through the door.
“Nice outfit,” you saw Harry wink your way as you blushed.
“Yeh we just had to grab a few things from the market,” Niall responded. Your eyes searched the room for Liam, but he wasn’t there. Ellie saw your confusion and motioned her head to the closed door. You sighed. If he was going to be immature, then so be it. You didn’t want to talk to him either.
“So where’d you guys go for lunch?” Niall asked as he began to put away the groceries. You walked over to help him.
“Same place we went the other day,” Zayn said flipping the station on the tv.
“Well Y/N and I still haven’t eaten,” Niall said.
“Then why don’t we leave you two alone?” Ellie suggested nudging the others and giving them the look. Everyone nodded leaving the room.
“Wait. Where are you guys going? And what about Liam?”
“Right. Um we’ll go chill at your place if that’s alright?” Zayn asked as Harry went into the room to get Liam. You heard bickering coming from the room, when you finally saw the two boys emerge from the room. Liam looked at you, before looking away quickly. He looked tired, really really tired. His eyes looked red and puffy, as if he had been crying. You tried to ignore it, washing away any ideas by putting the milk into the fridge.
“We’re alone again,” Niall said wiggling his eyebrows. You rolled your eyes.
“What are we eating? I’m starving,” you whined.
“I’ll make us some sandwiches or something,” Niall said pulling out the bread he had just bought.
“I can help,” you said grabbing some fresh ingredients from the fridge.
“No I got it,” he said taking your hand, stopping you.
“Really Niall,” you tried.
“Y/N,” he said flipping you around to face him. He brought his body close to yours, close enough so that you could feel his fit pecks against your chest, “I got it.” You nodded, out of breath and unable to speak.
You walked into the living room, lying down on the couch. It was nice to lie down for a little. You grabbed the remote from the table, turning it on with a flicker. The first thing to pop was Good Luck Charlie. You groaned, changing it quickly.
“Hottest boy band’s Niall Horan girlfriend confirmed? We don’t have all the details, but the two were found frolicking in the supermarket today, while the girl was wearing a pair of Niall’s sweats and one of his sweatshirts…”
You shut off the tv quickly, your back stiffening as your cheeks became hot blushing an unkown shade of pink.
“Well would you look at that Y/N? We’re official.”
