You flicked back a bouncy curl behind your ear. You smacked on a third coat of Strawberry Swirl lip gloss. You wiped aside a miniscule smear of eyeliner leaking down your right eye. Yeah, you could say you were a bit nervous. You weren’t sure what to be feeling. Butterflies, anxiety, edge? You puffed up your hair with the pump of your hands. What were you gonna say to him? You adjusted the collar on your silk, collared long sleeve turquoise blouse. What was he gonna say to you? You shook your hands out, turning away from the dull mirror. Would you wanna run at the sight of him, or smother his face in long lost kisses?
“Y/N?” you heard Ellie call from your bed. Nearly shocking you out of your brain, you jumped.
“Whoa. You scared me,” you muttered.
“Someone’s a little nervous,” she sang to you.
“I am n—“ you sighed plopping down beside her on the soft comforter.
“It’s okay. Don’t think about it. Lou said he just wants to see you."
“See me?”
“Yeah. They’re only doing two concerts here and then they’re moving on to the other states.” You gave her an odd look.
“You didn’t think he was staying did you?” she asked cocking her head back.
“I—“ you hated lie, “No I didn’t think that.”
“Good. Now let’s get going. I told him we’d meet at 3,” you glanced at the ticking time bomb flying through it’s numbers. 2:41.
“Kay. Let me just grab something from the bathroom.” You continued to your bathroom, taking a look in the bathroom mirror. You took a deep breath. Let’s just get this over with.

“379 Elm. Or was it 973?” she shook her head in utter frustration. You threw your head back in just plain annoyance.
“El,” you groaned.
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry. It should be just around the corner,” she mumbled swerving the car around the sharp curve. Dead end.
“Ellie. What did they tell you?”
“They told me it was this hidden, secluded place on Elm. I think it was 379—“
“Or 973,” you mumbled for her. She skewed back to the left, redirecting back to the main road.
“How hard is it to find your way around this place?”
“Obviously pretty hard. This town’s pretty big okay.” You groaned again kicking your shoes up onto the dash of her card. “Ah-ha! This must be it!” the car came to a crisp halt. You got out and walked towards the small shop. It was a small, dark place that looked aged of many years. The sign was only half-lit and looked like it was about to fall off.
“Are you sure this is it?” you asked unsure.
“Yeah. Come on we’re almost an hour late.” You got into the weird place to be confronted by a young female.
“Reservation?” was the one word that came from her polished lips.
“We—uh we—“ Ellie stuttered. How crazy would it sound if we said were meeting One Direction?
“They’re with us,” a snarky voice spoke from up the darkened stairs in the back of the shop.
“Lou!” Ellie cried beside you running the past young girl up the stairs and into Lou’s arms. You took one look at the girl before walking past her slowly. You followed the two up the stairs. Reaching the top step you entered a small loft. It was lit by two small light bulbs and was smothered in colorful beanbags. Harry, Liam, Louis, and Niall.
And right then all the feelings hit you. All the feelings possible in this world. It was a spiral of anger, hate, regret, but then again lust, passion, love. You saw everything in this one boy, that you’ve never seen half of in one person. It was crazy. You saw the four boys stand up. To your left Ellie’s hand was already interlocked with Louis’. They were smiling, big. Before you could speak Harry said something.
“Took you guys long enough.” You wouldn’t have any words to say anyways if you had spoken. You looked back to Niall who seemed to be feeling the same. He was wearing a dark green shirt, and regular blue jeans. His sneakers cuffed up his ankles, his hair gelled perfectly, not one strand out of place. It was weird, it was really weird not seeing him in the usual board shorts, no shirt, the sloppy beach hair. Back at your place, you had stood in front of the mirror talking yourself into this. Because you knew that it was going to be hard to leave once you came, way too hard. You said you were only going to come for closure, to see him once last time. Because like Ellie had said, he was leaving. Again.
“Yeah sorry. I’m not the best directions,” Ellie responded. But you ignored her, as the world seemed to concave into one moment.
“Hi,” he breathed walking towards you.
“Hi.”
