23 weeks pregnant

so, going nursery shopping on christmas eve is not michael and i's finest choice. yet, here we are, shopping for all the furniture needed to fill our little one's room. besides, i'm finally off bedrest and have been anxious to start building the nursery.

"look how cute this is!"

i said with a smile as i looked at the white crib in front of michael and i. i bent down and looked at the price tag as my heart dropped. $400.

"do you want this one?"

michael asked.

"it's way too expensive mikey."

"listen, whatever you two want, i'm buying. don't worry about it."

"are you sure?"

i asked him.

"i said don't worry about it."

michael said as he grabbed the crib off the shelf and placed it in the long cart. we ended up filling two carts with all the furniture we needed and brought it all home. when we got home, the guys were there to help michael unload the car and start building the nursery.

"are you sure you don't want my help?"

i asked as i watched michael opened the box to the crib.

"no! go relax. we've got this."

michael said before walking over to me and placing a kiss on my lips.

"okay. have fun guys."

i said to the boys before walking out of the room. i went into the bedroom and started to fold some of the clothes that we had bought for the baby. that's when i heard a loud crash coming from the nursery.

"what the hell was that?"

i asked as i rushed into the nursery.

"just luke tripping over the boards like the clumsy fuck he is."

calum said.

"you really scared the shit out of me."

"sorry. didn't mean to."

luke said as i laughed.

"how's it going in here?"

"it would be better if these directions were in english."

michael said as he held the directions....upside down.

"why did i leave you in charge of this again?"

i asked as i grabbed the directions and turned them the right way.

"oh, hush."

michael said as he rolled his eyes at me and smiled.

"are you guys going to be able to get this all done today?"

i asked as i looked at the numerous boxes in the nursery.

"we will if you get out of here."

ashton joked.

"this is why you're the baby's least favorite uncle."

i said as i rolled my eyes and walked out of the room.

"you suck!"

i heard ashton call after me as i laughed.

"are you ready to see it?"

michael asked as he tied a blindfold around my eyes. the boys have been working in the nursery all day and have all but banned me from the room. now i'm finally excited to see what they've been doing.

"yes!"

"are you sure?"

calum teased.

"yes! yes! yes! let's go!"

i yelled in excitement. michael directed me out of our bedroom and into the nursery.

"okay...3...2..1!"

luke counted before michael took the blindfold off my eyes. i looked around the room and gasped as i saw the theme in my head finally come to life. it's all outer space and star themed. there's little planets hanging over the crib and glow-in-the-dark stars covering them room.

"i love it guys."

i said as i started to tear up.

"aw, don't cry."

michael said as he hugged me.

"i'm so happy. it's better than i could've ever imagined. thank you."

i said with a smile as i pulled the other guys in for a hug. i'm so lucky to have them in my life. and they're just going to be the best uncles and dad ever.

"so, have you guys thought of a name?"

calum asked michael and i.

"uh, yeah we do."

"can we know?"

luke asked suspiciously.

"nope. not until she's here. ooh, or maybe the baby shower."

i said. i think it's more fun to keep the name from the boys. watch them squirm a little bit: all i know is michael and i picked the perfect name for our perfect little girl.
